Can I just say that I am glad premium channels are putting out really great shows lately. This is one of the top shows out there.
I don't know if they will turn Lafeyette only because they need him to get to other V dealers and if they turn him then he won't be able to contact them. V dealers probably only meet in the daytime so they don't get setup by vamps like they could at night. I think Bill and Jason are going to go at it over Sookie.
Sookie is on to Maryanne. Sookie read her mind and heard her chanting. I think Tara will try and move in with Sookie and Maryanne will try and prevent it which will turn Tara against her and the black dude (don't know his name).

I heard though that they are deviating more heavily in season 2 from the books. that could be wrong though.

It certainly seems like they are. Jessica is original to the series. Jason is going a different way. Though the setup in the end of ep 2 seems to be from Dead in Dallas. It'll be interesting to see where they take that storyline, though having read most of the books I've go a good feeling how it'll play out.

On a side note, what the hell were Lafayette and the rest chained up to in the basement? Thoughts?

Not sure what the turning is about. At first i thought it was the stage turning. Maybe it is a huge tub of blood and they turn that thing in order to keep the blood from getting stagnant. Maybe they have to keep it moving.

I don't think that contraption has any purpose, it was just there to keep them chained up and allow them access to the bucket. If they needed people to turn it, they wouldn't have offed all the others, they would've kept them there.

Maybe its just a cruel game. Maybe they always take the one closest to the stairs...so its like a twisted game of musical chairs. The whole lot of them were obviously humans to be "tried" for crimes against vampires, and they always took the person closest to them it seemed.

Well, that's for sure why they were there. They all did some bad ^^^^ against vampires and Eric as the Sheriff was getting to the bottom of things.

Can't wait to see Sundays episode!!!! I really wanna see what happened with Lafayette.

Just checked on IMDB. Lafayette is slated to be in this weeks episode, and then a couple times in July. So, he is either turned, or its flashbacks of him in future episodes. Im hoping he is turned! And really, if he was just going to die...what would be the point of not just making it him that was dead in Andy's truck?

Not sure if any of you guys know this (those who weren't there), but at Con last year, there were large amounts of Fellowship of the Sun swag.

And, one day when we were eating lunch at the Tin Fish across the street from the Con Center, there was a large group of the Fellowship protesting Vamp rights, right there in the street.
Signs, chants and all, and it went on for quite a while.

It was good fun!
I'm very curious to see if they have anything going on this year.
