Sideshow's site says that, aside from the Iron Man comiquette, there should be at least one other new piece released today! I hope Spooktacular delivers!

I'm thinking not today now since this will have an exclusive edition, therefore taking up two boxes. Looks like something like SSE dio or the zombie Priest are the likely choices today, and the Beserker PF tomorrow. No idea when this will go up now. :monkey2

Hhmmm... even so, I'd forgotten all about an exclusive, which has left me excited still. :D

Meh. If there is, I'll be happy, if there isn't, I'll still be happy. I don't see a problem.:duh

The base seems too small to me and it looks like they are running. Not exactly what I was expecting. Will have to see more pics before deciding.

You've seen the base? Do share, brother. Thanks for the "scaled skulls" info. I forgot about that on the press release... that makes this an easy must-have for me, as if it weren't already.:D

Sorry for the double post. Just saw the Inside Look, I'm guessing that's where you saw the base and whatnot (but if you found it somewhere else, please do tell!). LOVED what it showed of the first diorama, what it said about the emergence of the Dinosauria line in tandem with the JP line, and that we got a glimpse of what appears will be the second piece - a Carnotaurus. Again, I'll be on board. I love Carnotaurus, it's such a bizarre but beautiful creature. Another thing that I liked about the Inside Look wasn't just that they had seasoned paleoartists on board, but that the paleoartists and the artisans of SS share the vision of giving the dinosaurs individual character, making them riddled with scars, bruises, abrasions, and even fractured bones! It's exactly how a dinosaur line should be done. This will be a line that, I'm safe in asserting, I will be in love with for a very long time. I'm sure it will be a financially costly affection, but I'll risk it.

One thing I was pondering would be the possibility that we won't see more than one version of a dinosaur from a given species portrayed; I'm just curious what the marketability of exclusives would be if they just repackage skulls from previous pieces to use as exclusives in other ones. Now if they change them to add fractures, different ornamentation, lost teeth, ossified areas where injuries were healing, etc., then it seems like they could be onto something and we could have more than one piece depicting one species. Just some thoughts as to what we can think of with this line in the long run.

Yeah I just saw the base in the video. I hope it is a bit larger than that in-progress. It looks more like a chase than a battle, which I was kinda expecting the the "vs" title. I still can't wait to see this. I'm not a statue kind of person, but this may be the first series to get my attention. In part, it really is because of Jurassic Fight Club that has renewed my interest in dinos. Curse you History Channel! :lol

I hope the show is doing that for more people. I do love the fights. The Allosaurus fighting the Ceratosaurs is a favorite... but it's hard to pick a clear-cut favorite. The show's just a hell of a good time.

I know this may sound like a stupid question, but where is this video on the site?

think i'm more interested in that carnotaurus they showed now.

It does look awesome, no doubt about it. I hope in the final piece it ends up standing out at least partially as much as the T.rex VS Trike piece. I don't think Sideshow will disappoint.

Cannot wait! I have no other obligations this Thursday, thankfully, so I can just sit and wait for the pre-order... tell me, when you read that last sentence, did it sound as pathetic to you as it did to me?

You know what, though? That's just fine. I happily embrace my geekdom to sit and wait for a piece of this quality. :rock
