They never do, but they tend to be entertaining.

If you pay attention you will see I edited out part of his post. How about we all act like adults and just worry about our own posts and make sure they are appropriate...then we don't have to worry about this thread getting closed down.
Sounds like just one person causing trouble to me.
Because North Korea portrays the U.S. to its people as this evil imperial monolith that wants to do lots of really bad things to them. Propaganda 101 rule of fostering fear of a strong, and nasty enemy in order to create a sort of "rally round the flag" effect of nationalist support. So why is it they're threatening to launch against the US, opposed to any other country?
Too tall.
and too thin!
and too well dressed

Because military wise the US is the number one country supporting the South and realizing military drills despite the North opposition.
Also, because the US is the main supporter of UN sanctions against North Korea and its nuclear program.
More than that, the U.S. is the most powerful and influential country in the world. It's the easiest target for these kinds of claims. That's why folks hate the U.S. in every continent across the globe The U.S. has actually tried to open up diplomatic and economic relations many times over the years, going back most notably to the Clinton Administration. But whenever they take one step forward, North Korea does something stupid and sets them two steps back.Because military wise the US is the number one country supporting the South and realizing military drills despite the North opposition.

Yeah, one of my good friends was originally from South Korea, and doesn't seem too worried about all this. Though their complacency may not necessarily mean there is no danger of a real tipping point being reached here.
The 40-50k US troops in South Korea won't be able to stop a 1 million army.
