Evans' chance goes way up if Machida isn't the champ imo. I think it's crazy that Rampage turned down a title shot for the show, but aparantly he wants time to focus on some skills.

Personally the TUF coaches should have been Thiago Alves and Georges St. Pierre.

Edit: I'm pretty excited, about Melvin Guillard returning to LW division to mix that up a little bit.

I think Rampage knows that as is at present he isnt a good match for the LHW Champ but if he takes some time works out some news stuff(start checking the damn leg kicks perhaps) he will be better servered when he does face Machita.

I can understand that, plus i'm sure TUF doesn't pay bad either.:rotfl

like he recently said, he needs to start slamming the ^^^^ out of ppl again cause i think he could prolly take down anybody if he put in the effort like GSP does during his fights, im just not sure if he could hold people down there for extended periods of time. i agree that Alves and GSP would make a good TUF, but Dana prolly prefers it when the two coaches hate the crap out of each other.

Yeah i hear ya, it does seem like that either the coaches hate each other or their really big names. Like Liddell n Couture. I guess they plan to use every popular guy at least once.

It looks like Machida v Shogun is on. I gotta take Shogun. I like Machida alot but I think Shogun takes this one. What a great matchup, should be a classic.

Rashad n Rampage should be like the Tito/Shamrock season. But I'm really enjoying the UK v USA season. The UK got some good prospects.

That's true but it's almost like they want the U.K. to win. First of all they did Lightweight and Welterweight- too small weight classes and the UK is known for not having big guys as good fighters so the majority of their talent is small people. The best U.S. fighters i'm sure have tried out and made it already so it's almost like were going to B grade fighters (besides a select few). UK should take the Lightweight UF contract. Demarques i think is the only persosn standing in their way at Welter. Cameron Dollar isn't bad but he's too risky to bet on. Come on UFC do Canada vs. Brazil:D GSP vs. Alves

Meh, ive never seen what was so good about Shogun. Machida is going to work him.

You guys seen Meisha Tate? :monkey5:monkey5

Koscheck will destroy Trigg. Yes i'm saying this partially because i am a Kos fanboy but also because Trigg is old and can't hang with this generations MMA.

Lyoto kind of gets a break if you ask me because Shogun (in no offense to the guys he beat) beat two dudes who are definetly on the downside of their career. The people who i consider more worthy of a title shot then Shogun are : Dan Henderson, Brandon Vera, and the winner of Wanderlei vs. Franklin. It doesn't matter thogh since Machida will most likely destroy every one of those guys. The only guy tough enough is Henderson but he will most likely lose also.

how the ^^^^ is Evans a coach for TUF!!?, he just lost and he is only 1 win away from another title shot  thats BS! every other guy that has ever lost his title never got a title shot that easily.........that makes no sense at all especially since Rampage already did TUF, are u sure this is for real?

TUF coaches doesnt mean they are getting title shots. it's just to match up two big names that will help to promote the season of TUF. They will probably be the one of the main events for the New Years show.

Even if Evans beats Rampage which I doubt will happen, he will not see a title shot for at least another year and half imo, and thats IF he continues to dominate in that span. To put it in short, Evans blew it big time!

Machida vs Shogun is going to be boring and a domination by Machida. If Shogun stands up with Machida he will be playing right into Machida's strengths....If Shogun takes Machida down, Machida is also a BJJ Black belt, no big deal there. Rashad had more of a chance of beating Machida through ground and pound and wrestling, but failed big time to even try.

Wow! Thats crazy. Machida went from a boring counter fighter to Superstar. And I would worry about Machida going to the ground he almost got submitted by Tito. Plus Shougun has a brutal GnP and great submissions, and his standup is awesome. Its a great fight. Thats all that matters. I glad to see Shogun get the shot before anyone else.
