And Mark Hunt. Lost to Barnett and then 5 months later (with no fights inbetween) fought Fedor for the PRIDE HW Title.

If it's the former, it's obvious: Winner of Evans and Jackson. If it's the latter, I don't see the problem with Shogun tbh. He beat Liddell who we all know was one more fight away from getting yet another gifted Title shot. So why not let Shogun fight for it!? It would've been different if the UFC would've given Shogun the title shot OVER Jackson.. but Jackson chose TUF 10 to fight vs. Evans (who apparently REALLY got under his skin with that whole in-cage face off).

When I talk about Shogun not deserving it I'm just F'ing with all the people who said the same thing about Lesnar who are now all for Shogun fighting for the title. You know, MMA EXPERTS who cuddle with lifesize blow up dolls of Fedor.

Why do you keep saying band wagon? No one is saying Machida is the greatest ever and will beat Shogun in 5 seconds. People are stating there opinion. Stop saying band wagon, Machida isn't OUR Fedor.

The Aug. 15 Strikeforce main event fight between Gina Carano and Cris "Cyborg" Santos will be at 145lbs. and it'll be a title fight. Also it will be the first female MMA fight to have 5 five minute rounds. Neither of these chicks are exactly known for making weight which is why Strikeforce created the title. Now the problem is: who fights the winner!? Because there isn't many women (if any) fighting regularly at 145. In other words: the title is a joke.


Blagoi Ivanov, who beat Fedor in Sambo last November is supposed to be making his MMA debut Aug. 2 in Sengoku vs. Fujita. Honestly.. I could easily see dude getting smashed by Fujita.


Tim Sylvia is fighting this Saturday in Alabama at Adrenaline III vs. Ray Mercer. Now the fight will be a full on MMA fight instead of a Boxing match. Monte Cox (owner) couldn't get the Boxing match regulated by a U.S. commission so he had to change it. Mercer is old. Yes. But this is still the same dude who absolutely destroyed Tommy Morrison (broke Morrison's jaw) and the same dude who Kimbo would not stand with (Kimbo immediately went for the takedown and got a Guillotine Submission Win). I'd be surprised if Tim JUST stands with Mercer.

I know, I actually enjoy their fights. It's different. I was talking about how they make the weigh-ins and how some things cause weight gain. That's what was funny, not the actual fighting.

Yeah that's what was funny to see these tuff fighters talking about women's cycle and how it affects their weigh ins. Then one of the fighters says something like "he would know" or something and then they all start joking.
