I wouldn't be so sure, Anderson said he wants Mir or Lesnar. He obviosly won't get Lesnar since Carwin is fighting him and Anderson has never fought in HW but Mir is definetly a possibility.

I heard about that too. But I doubt it'll happen. Who knows though. :lol

Also according to ex-UFC fighter David Bielkheden's blog Ricardo Arona has signed with Strikeforce and will be making his debut after he fights Marvin Eastman Sept. 12 at Bitetti Combat in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Interesting because Arona has never fought in the U.S. and there's always been rumors that dude is on steroids. So if he has signed with Strikeforce I wonder what kind of shape he'll be in. Will it be similar to Filho: looking massive overseas (PRIDE FC) and then out of shape in the states (WEC) and then massive once AGAIN overseas (DREAM)!?

His first fight in Strikeforce would probably be vs. Mousasi too since Strikeforce really doesn't have any other top LHW's.

Anderson Silva. There's a rumor going around about that.

:rotfl...........Anderson vs Brock? he would be crushed literally, Brock absolutely destroyed Mir in their last fight, and Silva.........:lol i dont know, i just cant stop laughing cause that would never happen, that wouldnt even be fair, but that would defn be a "super" fight.

I haven't seen anything about Lesnar. Just Mir.

i dont know, standing, i think Silva has a chance, but i mean he hasnt even been tested against a true Power hitter in the LHW division, like RAMPAGE :naughty, so we dont even know if he could take a hit from a HW.

Anderson didn't call out Lesnar but said he would like to test himself and eventually fight Mir. Which if you think about it is hinting that he will resign with the UFC.

Agianst Mir he'd have a chance, agianst Lesnar he's get crushed.

Well he's already signed preliminary stuff for a Boxing match with RJJ once his UFC contract is up (3 fights!?). So it's no secret once he's fulfilled his UFC contract he's done with MMA.

Yeah but I still think we will see him in MMA. It might be for a one or two fight deal but I think he will be back.

I hope so.. it would suck for him to just walk away. But iunno.. for whatever reason he's dead set on fighting Roy Jones jr. and other stuff outside of MMA.

Not sure how much weight this holds but it'll be cool if true:

The “UFC 103: Franklin vs. Belfort” pay-per-view card is going toe-to-toe with the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Juan Manuel Marquez HBO pay-per-view event on Sept. 19.

The UFC is known for its creative marketing and counter-programming tactics and it looks like the MMA giant has come up with a good plan to beef up awareness for UFC 103.

The UFC will air a two-hour telecast of the UFC 103 undercard commercial free on Spike TV as a lead in for the UFC 103 main card on pay-per-view, according to a source at the UFC.

It remains to be seen how well either event will do with two major PPV events on the same night.

Will the UFC, which has been flourishing on PPV in these tough economic times, take a hit going head-to-head with a major boxing card?

Is Mayweather a legit pay-per-view draw? He had Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton to help pump up sales in his two biggest PPV fights.

Will boxing fans, who also follow MMA, bail on the UFC to see Mayweather back in action or will they be lured into watching Rich Franklin take on Vitor Belfort at UFC 103?

One thing is for sure, it’s going to be an interesting night of fights.

Dana won't let Anderson go. He'll probably lose in the next year anyway, if he keeps fighting at 205. He's still the best out there.

PENN vs Dirty Sanchez @ UFC 105 free on Spike!!! :rock love it!

:lol ... somebody should get him on the way to the cage ... :lol

..... YES! ...... YES!..... YES! ...... YES! .................. NO! ...... NO! ... NOOOOOOOOO!

I been following BJ's blogs, he's already back on his diet so looks like he's out for blood. Im guessing he'll show up in better shape than the Kenflo fight.
