Sherdog's play by play says they scored round 1 of Cyborg vs Finner 9-7(x2) and 9-8... How the hell do you score something 9-7? I got to watch that ____. This whole event actually....

I want to see Cyborg fight Urijah Faber. Seriously.

It means up until the Knockdowns and after the knockdowns, they felt Jan was winning the round 10-9. Then that dropped to 9-9 with the first knockdown, 8-9, 7-9, etc.

Makes no sense to me. Doesn't matter how good you're doing, if you get dropped like 2 or 3 times you lost the round. :slap

did you guys consider Cyborg's point deduction? And Jan spent most of the round on the ground cowering. I wouldnt have called it a 9-7 round but they did. ANd you mainly see "7" scoring in boxing (losing the round with 2 knockdowns).

I'd like to see Cyborg fight any 145 or 155 male just to see what she can do.

Was there a point deduction? That would make a lot more sense. Just score the round 10-8 or 10-7 if there wasn't.

Cyborg got a point deducted for hitting Jan in the back of the head. It wasnt like she was trying to either. Jan just kept moving her head.

So 9-8 would make sense but if the judges are use to judging boxing matches, then I would see them scoring it 9-7.

didnt expect that, but thats what happens when you rush and make mistakes...you pay.

Yup. Can't believe he did it, but I guess everyone makes mistakes. And when Werdum caught him Fedor seemed more focused on trying to get some punches in than to evade the submission, which in turn just sunk him in deeper into the triangle. Of course, there was my predicted trash talking and everyone looking at me wearing my Fedor RVCA shirt. :dunno

On the other side of the picture there should be the main announcer guy balled up crying because I thought he was about to shed a tear after he interviewed Fedor.

Because that was their main draw. Having the "undefeated, best fighter in the world". That's gone now. Their big plans for a PPV fight between Fedor and Overeem is gone now.
Think about how much money Strikeforce has pumped into those leaches M-1 and Fedor and this happens. It's nothing short of a disaster.

Well its not like Fedor has lost his life. He has plenty of other fighters to fight against and I hope he does fight Overeem. Even if its a pie eating contest.

True, he didn't lose his life, but he did lose any leverage his company (M-1) had in upcoming negotiations.

I predict Fedor's other streak continuing:

RINGS: TKO'd
PRIDE: KO'd
BodogFight: KO'd
Affliction: KTFO
Strikeforce: soon to be TKO'd

Fedor and M-1 Global: The Promotion Killers, lol.

Werdum beats one good fighter, and all of a sudden, hes the second best? Werdum isnt even a champion. How the hell is Valesquez not on there? The ppl that put those things together are clearly :cuckoo:

Didnt the same thing happened with Rogers? Before he fought Fedor he was not ranked and then afterwards he was in the top 10.

Yup, which was criminally insane. Rogers lone win was against an Arlovski who's best days are behind him.

Poor Andrei. Ever since that first loss to Timmay, he's been gun shy. Then he decided to completely forgo his ***** experience, train with Freddie Roach, and proceed to get outboxed by Antonio ****ing Silva.

He was on a nice 5 fight win streak before that Fedor loss, though. It seems like after many guys fight Fedor, they're never the same afterwards. Whether it's Timmay, Arlovski, Lindland, Hunt, and Randelman. There are exceptions of course, and I'm mostly talking out of my ass after having one too many drinks and a vicodin.
