Hilarious. You know his voicemail got filled in minutes.

pretty Sweet. I was thinking about buying the UFC gloves.

Now I mean I get the comfort zone things, but at the same time fighting is NOT comfortable ;) . I mean this isn't the Ultimate Pillow Fighting Championship.

Just saying, if you are a fighter and your goal is the title shot you should be willing to train with who ever if it means getting your shot. It's not like there are a shortage of good trainers, coaches, and camps out there. A fighter and his camp should be willing to come to some sort of agreement or compromise to work things out. This isn't just any other fight. It's a shot at the title. It's a shot at immortality and history.

Fitch says there is no interest in them fighting but the interest is to see who is better at that time and the #1 contender spot. Seems Fitch gave that up to see his friend get another shot while he'll stay at #2 spot.

That's why when Fitch brought up getting another title shot (at some post fight press conference) Dana was like yeah, fight Koscheck first. Fitch STFU after that. :lol

I remember that. It was after his last fight (UFC 111). Dana says "he doesnt want the title shot that bad then".

Re: Dongi "The Ox" YangRe: UFC, etc.

Most likely "The Ox" Dong-Yi Yang. That's the newest Korean fighter to sign with the UFC and he's part of Korean Top Team. 9-0 (8 TKO's, 1 Sub).

He used to fight at HW but plans to drop down to MW to fight in the UFC. Which at the very least shows he has brains because WAY too many foreign fighters try to fight in the UFC at their natural weight and end up being considerably smaller than all the guys who routinely cut weight.

Devil, I know im late replying back to everything, but its hard to get a computer with internet access around here. The name you mentioned Dong-yi yang sounds right. Looking at that record there was a guy there that mentioned he was undeafeated, so again that probably is him.

As for weight cutting...yeah especially with the asian fighters they dont understand weight cutting and try to fight at there normal weight. Some of the new guys are starting to learn the hard way and are actually changing there diets to get bigger and stronger... speaking of since Ive been here everyday its noodles or rice with a very small portion of fish as a side the base is usually rice or noodles with a ton of vegatbles. So no wonder they cant keep any weight on or get bigger. Ive actually lost some weight myself since being here and im in the begining of week 2. My wifes aunt actually brought home some chicken a few nights ago and guys I about bent berserk on those suckers. I was like so meat does exist over here... Anyways dont want to bore you guys to much. Like I said Im in Tokyo now and finally got some internet access so i'll be able to get on for the next few days.

Ramapage v Machida this fall, good fight.

Not if Rampage turns out another lack-luster performance like he has against Jardine and Evans. He just doesn't seem like his heart is in it like it used to be, which is disappointing because I like his fighting style. The man is a beast when he's at the top of his game. But then again, Rua showed the flaw in Machida's style and I think Rampage matches up well with that. Could be interesting.

cant wait for that one...........my gut says Machida will win, but in a stand up battle, anything can happen. Im curious if he will change the way he trains after his last fight.

I want Rampage to smash him. ...but Machida will run around and throw an occasional leg kick to take a decision.

Yeah I remember when Machida threw an occasional leg kick in the Rashad fight but somehow KO'd him. If Rampage isnt carefully, he could end up the same way. We wont know how much they have change until they fight. Either of them winning is fine by me.

Rampage HAS to win the clinch when they fight, and he has to find a way to shorten the distance against him to be successful. He has been way too predictable lately

I don't think it'll be as bad as Evans vs. Machida, but I don't see Rampage winning. Unless Machida tries to be overly aggressive like in the second Shogun fight.

I'm sure Rampage will fight much better than his bout with Rashad. But he still wont win. :lol

Oh I know he'll look better. Griffen and Evans both = a 10 month lay off for Rampage before the fights. Both also = losses for him. Now he's scheduled to fight Machida in November (which is only 6 months away).

But I agree.. don't think it'll matter much.

It is worth noting though, Rampage has never lost two fights in a row. And after a loss, 6 out of 7 times in his next fight Rampage has won by (T)KO.
