I have doubts as well.. all based on the Kongo fight.

JDS/Carwin > Kongo when it comes to power shots IMO.





Roy has never been actually KO'ed unconscious. He has a TKO loss to Arlovski and he was knocked silly.. but no more so than the JDS fight. Dude has an iron chin and can take a punch if nothing else.



Did he get his BJJ BB before or after his Submission (and only) loss (11/10/07)? I've heard numerous times that JDS is supposedly comfortable and dangerous off his back.. but iunno. Talk is cheap. Until I see it, it's all speculation because anyone can be the ish in training.

Yeah, that is what I thought. The Carwin v Nelson fight should be interesting.

I'll give JDS benefit of a doubt and say that he is good off of his back. But getting punched in the face changes things. Just ask Brock.

Yeah it was just to good to actually happen. I was excited for Shane and Roy. I'll settle for Mir vs Nelson if thats the case and Lesnar vs Nog...I dont even know what to think there. I know Nog is awesome at making come backs but once Brock starts dropping those hammers down it changes everything on the ground. Especially for Nog who likes to fight from his gaurd and I think having Brock in your guard is a bad day waiting to happen.

yeah he had 1 big gash on his cheek adn a smaller one above it...I think thats as stated more of get better and get over your mental hump. I mean even in that pic, Brock looks like hes going to kill himself man.

I was listening to a podcast today and the cant remember the guys name, but the guy was just saying that Brocks good, but it just goes to show that hes not a true fighter since he runs and flinches when he gets hit. Apparently rumors floating around that during training the word is "Brock can hit you, but you cant hit Brock"...
The guy was like if thats the case Brock needs to hire someone to punch him in the face like a million times,lol i was just laughing.

Now again Im not a huge Brock fan, but I do wait for his return. Its just a matter of time before hes bigger, better with more skills man. Hes down but hes not out.

I can sorta see that happening. He keeps to himself and doesnt allow others to train there that he doesnt want there. That sounds almost like he doesnt want people to see his weaknesses. Did he even show some of his sparing sessions during Primetime?

That cut was gushing during the fight. If Brock trains more on his standup and spares more, he will come back a MONSTER... that is of course if his glass jaw can take it.
