For those wondering about Brock being out up to 6 months, it is a medical suspension for a possible eye injury in which the time can be reduced if he is cleared.

Brock Lesnar -- suspended 45 days, with no contact for 30 days; 60 days, with no contact for 60 days for left cheek laceration; and 180 days, with no contact for 180 days (may be cleared early by ophthalmologist)

Lesnar’s suspension is actually three-fold. The fighter’s 180-day suspension is due to possible eye injuries, but the former champion may be cleared early by an ophthalmologist. Even if he were given the green light on his vision tomorrow, however, Lesnar is still required to sit out at least 60 days for his left cheek laceration, with no contact allowed. Finally, regardless of either suspension, the champion would have been forced to sit out for at least 45 days, with no contact for 30 days for precautionary reasons after being TKO’d by Velasquez.

Not sure if anyone cause, but Zoila and Megumii just fought for the Belt on Bellator. Pretty good fight. I get more and more impressed everytime I watch the women fight. While Zoila was a little wild, Megumii was more accurate, but either way pretty good fight.

Hector getting ready to fight Alexander for the belt as well. This is the last Bellator for the season, a brief layoff and the new season/tourney begins.

Lesnar CAN'T go do the WWE thing if he wants to be in the UFC, he'd lose a lot of what little respect he's earned up to now in the MMA world.

Lesnar is still under contract with the UFC. So he couldn't even if he wanted to.

UFC will have FOUR shows a year on Versus.

Ugh.. who the hell even HAS that channel!? :lol:lol:lol

Another upset to add to the growing list for 2010: Megumi Fujii (22 - 0 - 18) lost to Zoila Frausto for the BFC 115 Championship by Split Decision.

Gabriel Gonzaga got cut by UFC today too.

I knew that would happen.

i watched it as well and I agree, it was a good fight.

Its too bad they arent having anything else this year.

everyone but you :panic:

and me. :(

I thought Versus was a basic cable channel everywhere. Hmm...guess I've been ungrateful with it. Always nice to put it on during those random nights I go to the gym to workout.

Yeah I used to care about M1, but the way M1 is run, i stopped watching them. I mean I'll be the first to say i watch alot of fights even from alot of grass roots shows and Im just not a fan of M1, unless there happen to be someone I actually care about fighting.

I just watched the Sengoku tourney the other night that was on HDNET. That was pretty interesting. The last 2 fights were awesome...cant remember the names of the top of my head.
