I'd be surprised if he makes that (or anything remotely resembling his SF pay). Cormier, who served Barnett only makes 63K to fight + 63K for a win, disclosed. Plus Barnett isn't a huge draw either (PPV or live events). Guess we'll find out after he fights for the first time, disclosed money anyways.

Yeah, you're probably spot on with that. In interviews he talked about how he wants to end his career with cementing his legacy, and went on to talk about how he can't do that if he's not in the big leagues. Probably took a big pay slash for it.

They all lose sooner or later. Silva's Legacy is already made. He can afford to take a lose now.

I agree, if he doesn't retire soon he'll take another loss eventually. Its part of the game. I mean hes been a dominant champion long enough that he'll easily go down in the books of combat history. No shame if he were to lose. All though I hope he kicks a hole through Chris Wiedman. Other than some wrestling I don't think he brings much to the table for Anderson.

I've been saying it forever, but I think Bones is the only guy who could and would beat Silva. I don't think we will ever see it though. I would argue Bones has the best ground game in mma cause he has solid wrestling mixed with vicious gnp, and can submit anyone.

Forgot Glover, I'll pick him too. Could be interesting though like when he fought Maldonado (another replacement) and found out it wasn't a "gimme fight" like on paper. Maldonado actually rocked Glover a few times. That was a scrap. :lol

Would love to see Hunt win. But JDS will play it safe probably win on points. Stick and Move the whole time.
