Gus lost because he gassed in the championship rounds. He really got beat up in the 4th and looked dead by the 5th.

amazing fight, glad to see Bones take it of course, but man, the rds were soooo close, I think I only had 2 rds where I knew for sure who won them. I would love to see a rematch. If Bones lost the decision, we prolly would, but I thought I had Bones winning rds 2,4 and 5. Gust just didn't have any big moments in the fight or any big time shots. He just didn't do enough to take it.

Amazing fight!!! I can't wait to see them fight again. I had JBJ 3-2, Gus gassed and was hurt in the later rounds.

Nah.. simply because Gus was never close to finishing the fight in any round while Jones had Gus almost out on his feet with that spinning elbow in the 4th. I believe that's the first time Gus has ever went 5 rounds and it showed. He looked good through the first 3 rounds but by the 4th and definitely in the 5th he was done.

Obviously he wants one and has asked for one though. But Glover is pretty much a lock for the next shot at the title. I say let Gus fight another top 10 LHW and the winner of that gets the next shot after Glover.

I'd like to see the rematch also. Gus did fine for his first time in the deep rounds, can't wait to see him now that he got his cherry popped.

Good fight.I predicted the fight would go down like this because Gus is 6'5 and has excellent footwork that wouldn't let Bones just stand in front of him and use his reach like he have done to his other opponents so far.

I think in the inevitable rematch Jons will have a new game plan and it won't be near the fight we just saw. Regardless I'm a fan of Gus now.
