I think if they didn't paint the over spray orange, it would look better.

From the video that's the only thing i don't like because the rest of it is great IMO.

It's only the orange on the face i don't like. I wish i was good at painting cos i'd get rid of the "glow effect"

I'm digging this piece. I think the paint job looks good. I tend to prefer a matte finish rather than really shiny, so I'm liking the paint job. No chrome. It would be way too shiny, IMO. Mine arrives on Friday and I'm looking forward to it.

P.S. - Was there a black chip in the paint on Ultron's upper "lip" in the video? If there is a black basecoat, then it is going to be very unforgiving to paint chips.

Damn just looked at the SSC website pic and it clearly shows the orange overspray on Ultron. I think it would look good only if the lights are turned on. But when it's off, IMO, it will not look good.

Yeah looks like a chip and a little one on his lip by the looks of it. So it look like we all agree that it's the orange overspray that's spoiling it a bit.

haha this is midtown comics, i was just there the other day. They didnt have the ultron yet.

Going to check it out next week, mine is arriving end of the week.

i checked the sideshow photos, i think the problem is in the prototype photo they painted the bars in intense orange and the overspray is a much lighter color which made it look good, but in the video it appears the spray is also painted with the same deep orange color which makes it look bad. No doubt with light up, this will look epic.

Also the matt finish is definitely better than shining chrome some of you wanted. It does make it look a bit plastic in the video but in person it wont. I am not worried about that at all.

Really just the orange spray that seem to be the problem, can probably just paint it over, should be easy to do since the body is just grey color.

Yea, wtf is with the orange paint...shouldn't it be bright yellow?

Anyway, the vid from Midtown is the reg I am sure. I've been to Midtown a few times when I went to NYC for work, and they don't have Ex as far as I've seen. Most LCS don't carry Ex. Pretty sure Ex have light on.

orange paint .....even see his abs its way too different
now not worry about him anymore from pics n video i didn't liked him at all..its like i m ordering something which i seen in prototype pics n getting something which is way too different.... anyways keeping my ex....
