So, question. . . I really want to play this game, but I fear it's a lot like the first Uncharted. I really liked the first Uncharted, but I found the combat a bit too difficult. There was one section underground, in what seemed like a sewer, big underground area, about shin deep water, with pillars around and there were 20 bad guys all blasting at you, and I just couldn't jump around and get to cover. I'd run out of ammo or just get blasted when I'd try to melee the baddies, and I eventually just gave up after umpteen tries at it.

Any tips at combat or do you just have to get better at it?? Cuz quite frankly, I feel that my time is precious, and I really can't spend more than an hour or so, trying to get through one section.

It's exactly like it, and it's awesome. The combat is deeper with a few new moves and counters, but you have to know how to play Drakes. You can;t just run around meleeing people or you will die, cover is your friend in this game. This isn't a brawler. I know exactly where you stuck and I have no idea how you ran out of ammo there, as enemies drop more ammo once they are down. And I beat the first on Crushing.

Sounds to me like you just haven't played many shooters. IMO this game is a even a bit harder. Maybe try it on easy or keep practicing. It's too good to miss. Good luck!

I ^^^^in' LOVE this game, totally deserving of every Perfect score/rating!! Naughty Dog has done it again, they took everything that was so good about the first game and made it better. The graphics are beautiful, story is awesome, voice acting is top notch and the gameplay is solid. Uncharted 2 once again brings me back to a game and franchise that I love and have a ton of fun playing!

If you haven't bought this yet, WTF are you waiting for?

Question for those who are currently playing the game - have they made the enemies more realistic than in the previous game?

By that, I mean do they still notice you crouched down behind a bush 500 yards away and immediately start firing? Or what about pegging you with a perfect headshot with an AK-47 from a half-mile away as you're riding a jetski?

I loved the first game, but those bits of "unrealism" tended to pull me out of the experience...
