Why does Drake have a brother when he was raised in an orphanage by himself, and why does Troy Baker need to be in every single recently released game known to man? :lol

Erm... looks good. I haven't missed out on a single Uncharted release, so I'll be playing this for sure.

Well they will go into what is important about that. I was taken aback at first, but I'm interested to see.

To be fair, he is pretty great. I loved his role in Infinite, Last of Us, and as Joker.

Anyone think it's likely they make a PS4 edition based on this?

You forgot Golden Abyss, that was such an underrated title.

I doubt people have issues with North or Baker as they're both FANTASTIC actors and pretty cool guys in real life. It's just that they're in everything. No really, everything. :lol

Troy Baker is one hell of a voice actor, and chameleon, just like Nolan North. I have zero qualms with him being in as many games as he can find time for. I can't wait for this game!

My problem with Nolan North is Drake is almost exactly the same as two other characters he voices - the Prince of Persia from the 2008 reboot (his worst role to me) and Desmond Miles (nothing really wrong with Desmong though). Also the guards he voices in Arkham City sound exactly like Drake, so I always am going "God Batman, stop beating up Drake/****** Prince/Desmond!" :lol

Troy is great, he does so much to change up his voices. Kanji in Persona 4, Joel from The Last of Us, Joker from Arkham Origins. But both guys are great, I just find it hilarious how much they're in.

Also Troy is Jake Mueller from RE6, wow :horror

Though it's hard to argue that David from TLOU sounds like Drake.

im playing uncharted 3 to get ready for 4 and the aiming is so abysmal and hard to shoot. and there's no options to make it faster more responsive. its just so clunky... i had to get this off my chest because if i was a game tester i would have told them to make it smoother..

David still freaks me out. But since 2011 I think North no longer has the same voice for most of his characters at least, after Arkham City anyway

North and Baker are total chameleons, no once could say the Joker is also Joel, or that the Penguin is also Nathan Drake. A testament to masterful acting.

The average person who only knows B:TAS might not realize Origins Joker isn't Hamill. Baker's great, you could barely hear his voice in some characters...but Joel is really his greatest work to me, you can't hear a trace of anyone he's voiced.

But North as Penguin I was able to tell, along with his guards :lol Mostly since I smashed the latter so many times and may or may not have watched the intro to Arkham City a lot.

Yeah, Baker's Joker was so close to Hamill's, it's creepy. He should definitely inherit the role should Hamill retire.

I had absolutely zero idea that was Baker until reading an interview with him in Game Informer. It introduced him as starring in TLOU, B:I, and A:O.

I was like, wait - what?

Sometimes when sequels and other stories are written, if you go back to earlier work, that earlier work doesn't always sit perfect, knowing what you know further down the line... That's the problem with making stuff up as you go along, and changing writers...

The Star Wars movies, and George Lucas are the worst for this.... but one minor thing that always sat a little odd with me was Nate's back story with Sully in the early level of U3... If the entire franchise was played in canon order, and you played the teenage Drake stuff, then Golden Abyss and read the comics.... the whole Sully 'is he on Drake's side or not, and will he stab him in the back' in UDF doesn't narratively make sense... However as a gamer if your first experience to the series is UDF, it works...

I agree, Nate having a brother seems a little odd at this point, especially as he was 15 when Sully took him under his wing... but in true 'twist' fashion, they could take this different ways yet..

My ex's grandmother raised a foster son in the same house as my ex and her parents between the ages of about 3 and 7 (my ex and the boy are about 2 years apart in age)... she then never saw him for years until they were adults. This man now calls my ex's mother 'Mum' at 40 years of age (the grandmother is long dead), and he and my ex call one-another brother and sister.... seems an odd concept of family to me, lol..

You know one series(very surprisingly) that worked out almost perfectly plot wise is the Fast and Furuous series. They've tied up the plot between movies in a jumping time line very well. And they've not been planned at all.

Whenever I watch Fast and the Furious I just marvel at how well they weave together their rich tapestry of complex plot lines.

Maybe it will be like There Will Be Blood and the brother will be a fake or an imposter.

You just have to suspend belief a little and pretend that Tokyo Drift is set in the present day, rather than the best part of a decade ago, lol...

To be honest... they had to do something eventually to tie it up, other wise the fans will retcon it like that abomination Highlander II sequel... (you know a sequel is bad when the following sequel pretends it doesn't exist!)
