Hey now... a few duds may make it out the door at first... When was the last time hot toys really let you down?

Besides, this sculpt comes with shades for this exact reason?

haha ya i believe in HT's QC wayyyy better than EB, if this was on a EB fig, id cancel my PO right away :p

Check out these cool pictures of the new Bruce in Casual Wear and Enter the Dragon figures posted by cywatt on Toy-World.com:

The change of clothing worked quite well I think !

...So no one has still yet to post pics of the DX head on the casual Bruce body?!

Really surprising to say the least, thought the H.K. fans would be more eager to experiment. Actually I'm surprised at the lack of photos they've posted of both Bruces, period. Thought this would be the ultimate and most prestigious figure yet for that particular fanbase.

I can confirm both bodies uses the same neck joint. There should be no problem swapping heads back and forth with this and DX04.

We have our stock today and smiling Bruce looks great. I really love the expression. It's really alive.

um huh ???

Does anyone think it might be possible to fix the "lazy eye" with some paint - or should that be left to a professional ? ...and would it actually help ?[/quote]

Id say use some acrylic. end of the day when its on display the eyes wont stand out that much from afar. I mean all the PERS eyes dont look as detailed eyes on dispay. Painted eyes look more detailed though... so you roably have to run even paint over the already 'half' painted eye to make it match...

I am not quite sure what you mean Axecutioner18, but I have made an attempt and photoshopped the picture to get rid of the lazy eye look, and I think it works (how ever it is one thing to do it on a computer and actually run paint over a 1/6 figure head....):

...might be best to take the head to a more professional to get it right... I wonder how much that would cost, and if it just to have the head send by post to a figure painter if there are details in these painted eyes ?

A professional is always a great option, also HT eyes are VERY VERY well painted and greatly detailed. However remember the Enterbay Bruce eyes? They were just flat black... honestly like I said, once on display the details in the eye really dont stand out that much. Better to do it oneself and make it presentable than sending it over and risking things like loss/paint rub in transit/delay etc etc... ask any customiser on the board getting a paintjob done by individuals is expensive and very time consuming

Okay Axecutioner18, thanx for the feedback - I did not know it would be too much hassle to have the eyes re-painted

Yeah, thanks Sherlock. I've seen it.

My point is --- if the headsculpt has a walleye, then why buy it?

Unless you like collecting strabismus figures . . .

There is no reason to believe that all the releases are like this. Look at the video posted a few pages back. This could be a reject batch being sold on eBay. Let's wait and see, I cannot imagine HT allowing this to go out like this.

Hehe... Allrightythen Dr. Watson !

Tell you what: I have been eager to get this figure for the some time now, before I saw the final product (or "first batch" if we are lucky), and wanted to try to find out if there is a solution for me or other who might be very interested in this or the "suit" version if this would be a continues problem for these two releases. How ever as Axecutioner18 mentioned it might not be as visible when displayed, but if it still is then lets try to find out if there is might be some small efforts needed to fix it.

By the way, I am a first timer on this forum so things that might be very obvious for some might not be so for others. Capish ?
