But they DO support "Civil Unions". It's all semantics. Besides, shouldn't someone like Obama be for gay marriage? To say he's not seems completely at odds with his stance on the rest of the issues. Again, I say it's all just POLITICS. Same crap, different election year.

These people (both Dems and Reps) are playing some of you like fiddles.

You may be right, but it doesn't change the fact that neither Obama or Biden have changed their positions. It is hard to find a politician FOR same sex marriage, but many do support civil unions.

I'm sure there won't be many dems with balls big enough to admit it. But Palin isn't doing a bad job at all. As someone who is not voting for either candidate and observing all this as neutral, I think she's more than holding her own. Not sure that's saying much though.

Can't keep watching. Too painful. Palin acts over rehearsed....permanent smug smile with a deer in headlights look. Most of her stuff is directed at camera and sounds like minispeeches she's practiced. (reminds me of Miss Universe contestants during their Q&A portion......right answer is "world peace" or some such). Biden is being too cautious (in fear of being perceived as sexist?) and therefore, coming off as stodgy. He's missed quite a few opportunities to zing some of her stuff. Neither impresses me.....the question is -- which would have more gravitas in international playground?

She seems ill-prepared and like a deer in the headlights. Not good. But Biden may be worse, because he's not very likeable AT ALL.

I like when Palin told Biden Obama's plan on Iraq is a white flag of surrender. It's funny cuz it's true.

In all fairness, she's lookin' no worse than McCain or Obama did. Like I said, it's not saying much of anything when looked at in the big picture, but in comparison, it's not bad at all.

She's not doing bad but not good enough. However, I do think Biden has the upper edge. Palin really needed to hit this one out of the park and she hasn't. However, I agree with you. The faith in Palin has to restored and she isn't doing anything to bring people to her side. After watching this though, I think Biden would have been a better presidential candidate than Obama. He comes off better than Obama, and not as arrogant. He may be winning some supporters because he is coming off better tonight than he has in the past.

This what I feared. Biden being too cautious. The pundits got to him, but he is definitely ahead at this point.

enough with the mudslinging biden....tell us what your party is going to do.

Palin seems to be holding her own.
Doesn't matter though Biden can say anything and none of the press will say a word about it.
If Palin screws up they are all over her.

I agree with Wofford. She is doing a lot better than I expected.

They're both boring the hell out of me. Neither one is saying anything new.

Yeah but the fact that Palin is saying something is a big improvement over her interview with Couric.:lol:lol:lol

I swear if I hear the word maverick one more time, I will just go watch Top Gun where it belongs.
