Knowing things is so passe. I think John Stewart nailed it when he said we live in a post-fact environment.
I think Sean Hannity said that!

Something that troubles me with Obama is his record of voting 'Present' on many issues as a Senator, especially on controversial ones. How can we expect him to make crucial and difficult decisions when the time comes if he's too afraid to do it as a Senator? There's no voting present when you're in the oval office.
Back on topic, the debate should be interesting tonight, but here's my prediction, which will be 100% accurate:
-Obama supporters will say Biden won
-McCain supporters will say Palin won
There's no such thing as "winning" a debate, each side will like their candidate, and those of us in the center will be continually unimpressed by both contenders.
I agree with you about the debate. The only thing that will change that is one side making a HUGE mistake tonight.

Voting "present" just means you do not agree with all of the legislation. I'd take that any day over missig the vote altogether.

This is actually my favorite Biden gaffe. His reaction to it was priceless, it makes me like him more This is what you call an honest mistake though. Still funny
Voting present is about as useful as saying, "Just call me if I can help with the financial crisis."
There is nothing wrong with letting ones faith help guide them.

Serious question: Is it true that the Moderator of tonight's V.P. Debate has written a book about Obama that is scheduled to come out on the day of the Presidential Inaguration? If so... whoa. How is it even possible they'd let that happen?
:eek
Honest mistake??!?
NO. It is a book that mentions Obama, but he is not the center of the book.
Yes, I absolutely think he knew he was in a wheelchair. You think he didn't?Do you think he knew he was in a wheelchair?
The title alone would state otherwise: The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.
That's incredible. How is the woman (who obviously would have, at worst, a financial stake in Obama winning with this book coming out on Inaguration Day) allowed to moderate one of these campaign debates?

She said "Joes Six-Pack." What a retard!!!!
