Super 7 gets retro with vintage Kenner 3 3/4″ Alien

For those of us who remember in pain the cancelled Kenner 3 3/4″ figures from the original 1979 Alien, Super 7 has answered our prayers!!!! Set to be released next year, Super 7 has access to the original prototypes!

This is the best news I've heard all year. I've wanted these for what seems like a lifetime, wait, it has been a lifetime! :lol

I just hope that they do this line justice. Here's the official press release from Super 7:

BTW, just scored a bunch of Pee Wee's Playhouse figs... all MOC and I'll be opening all of them :rock :rock :rock

YES!!! I'm a huge PW fan and got my daughter hooked. I did the same as you only I bought a huge lot of loose figures and let her play with them. My personal set is still MOC/MIB until I get my own playroom and then I'm busting open the Playhouse and all the figures. The only things I'll keep boxed are my big talking Pee-wee, big Chairry and Pterri.

I´m looking for the original stretch armstrong.

my first action figure, along with the best (in my opinion of course) 3 3/4" action figure.

answer.
1.- this figure has lasted about 34 years only using body cream as maintence.
2.-yes it is.

That is amazing it's lasted so long. I don't think I've ever seen a Stretch in person that looked half as good as that. And I love the packaging!

Those Alien figures are a must have. That's awesome news! They'll go great with my vintage Alien puzzle I picked up at an antique show a few months ago.

A nice $300 visa gift card has go me down to needing just 1 1/2 figures to have all the basic figures. I think I got super lucky to score Bluesnags and Yak Face for around $220 shipped. Now I just need A-wing pilot (when did he get so expensive) and the Carbonite block for Han. Then I can really concentrate on getting last 4 R2-D2 carded figures I want (ESB non sensorscope, Tri logo pop-up, Potf , and driods). Those are going to take a while.

Keep up the good work mfoga, and I agree... $220 shipped for Yak and Blue Snags is great :rock :rock

Here's the Pee Wee figures I got recently purchased... the Conky is actually the same one I've had since I was a kid, the rest are more recent pick-ups. I decided against collecting the human characters, so this set is complete for me.

Yeah, for the time and the audience they're pretty decent little figures. Pretty cheap too especially after NECA re-released the whole set awhile back.

I mean, the likenesses of the non-human characters are pretty spot on. That was unheard of back in those days :lol

Globie was always one of my favorites. He had a great voice and delivery. "That's over here, Pee-Wee!"
