Well the figure got here and it indeed had fuzzy arms and a leg. It cleaned up nicely though. I'm curious to see if it will come back.

At a toy show this past weekend, I managed to snag a boxed Spice Scout for $40. Box is a little rough but that doesn't bother me as it's getting opened anyways. I also snagged a carded Feyd and Rabban on Ebay. 3 more figures and a Sandworm to go...

Glad to know you were able to clean him up. I bet he stays clean since he's not in that package now.

Be sure and take pictures of the set once you have them all. The only one I ever bought was Feyd since I was a huge Police/Sting fan.

Funny thing is that I almost bought Feyd a few years ago for the same reason. :lol

MUSCLE guys are so cool... I keep my eyes open for a bunch of loose ones at a good price... I'd love to have a big jar of them on display. :)

I've still got a few from when I was kid. Not a lot, maybe 30-40.

Anyone collect LJN's Wrestling Superstars? I only have a few items sealed but I've got a whole bunch of figures including the ring loose.
George the Animal Steele is my favorite figure.

Nice Steele! He was always one of my favorite wrestlers. I've had quite a few of those heavy LJN figures over the years but never end up keeping them. I probably have a Hogan left somewhere. The ones I always liked were the thumb wrestlers.

They hurt like hell if you got hit with them.

GI Joe as far as the eyes can see...

Another one of those series I always want to, but it's never a big priority... Eventually I'd like to get a Hulk Hogan at the very least, though!

I loved the thumb wrestlers as well!

Yea I don't like them. The Endo and Predator look like they were made to look bad instead of capturing the essence of toys from that era

Agreed. Kenner sculpts were actually pretty good back (look at the scaled up GG versions). These look like they tried to make them bad. The terminator endo looks especially horrid.

I love the concept, though I'm not sure they got the aesthetic quite right...

That about sums it up for me. The Funko figures are definitely hit and miss. I'll agree that some of them seem purposefully bad as opposed to simplistic vintage charm. That said I really can't wait to see the modern Horror stuff. Freddy and Jason especially. And of course BTTF. I always wanted toys of Marty and Doc as a kid.

Recently I did have some vintage luck at the lcs. Picked up Kieth, Hunk, Pidge, and the Princess from Voltron for a pretty good price. Lance is leftover from childhood. I'll probably replace him eventually with a more mint/complete version.

Ok, The voltron lover in me needs these !!!

Those are in amazing shape, congrats!

Thanks, Madcow. I was really impressed with the condition they were, especially the gold paint. I don't even remember them having gold buckles as a kid. Must've worn off quick! :lol

I think they're relatively affordable on the after market. Start with the Princess and work your way down to Pidge. :D
