So I post awesome pics of Thundercats, MOTU with Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain, and everyone is intrigued by E.T.?? :gah:

Well, in all fairness, none of them were playing with their junk...

Apologies to Maglor... t'was indeed Kuzeh with the fingerbangin' E.T.
:thwak

In all seriousness though I really could use an E.T. figure. Would love it if Hot Toys would create one... seems like they would give it a shot since they've tackled other 80's Sci Fi.

That would be amazing!! :rock!

just got this in. dead mint canvas school bag.

:clap

I am so impressed with how well your motu stand and are in great shape!! et is my new wallpaper by the way i actually laughed until tears, not sure why i found him so funny but i did!

I just recently cleaned all of my vintage MOTU figures, those are the ones I actually played with as a kid... they have a lot of paint chips and damaged accessories, but overall in fair condition!
Specially the Castle!

E.T. is indeed pretty funny, gotta agree!!
:lol

Great stuff guys. Love the Thundercats ! Can't wait to get my recent haul of them.
:clap

Awesome-moe!!!!! :rock
:yess:

That can be fixed... :naughty

If anyone has a loose vintage Mego phaser (one of the light blue ones) I'd appreciate a hook-up.

I missed a few on eBay, and now there seems to be a bit of a drought. I may have to just buy a beater figure in order to get one :lol

I'm in the process of filling out my M.A.S.K. collection to be the way I remember it being as a kid. I have had to buy a few bodies and a couple masks etc. I was looking at my Firefly dune-buggy/ rocket glider I noticed that I'm missing the blaster on the right wing.

If anyone has a Firefly that they are willing to sell for parts, let me know. All I really need is that blaster. :peace

I don't think I have any. I have some old G.I. Joe (non RAH) weapons, but no phasers.

Ah yes, buying a whole other figure so you can get that one accessory you're missing...

You know what are REALLY hard to find? GI Joe Uzis that don't have chewed up, damaged handles. Snake Eyes V1 and V2, Steeler, Low-Light, Law and Order... For some reason, they were really prone to damage. I think I bought sealed versions of these to get the mint weapons, back in the day.

Luckily, V2 Snake Eyes was a Japanese version, so he wasn't that expensive.

My problem was the exact opposite - the Uzis would end up breaking off the figure's thumb, particularly with earlier figures like Steeler and Snake Eyes. It was probably due to the way you had to twist the gun to fit it properly in their hands.

I remember writing to Hasbro's Canadian office at the time and asking if they could sell me a replacement figure (I wasn't about to ask my mom to buy me a second MOBAT); they ended up sending me a brand new Steeler figure, free of charge. They had GREAT customer service back in the day.

Did you guys paint your Joes when you were small ? Like the back packs and stuff like that ?

Me and my friends would buy model paint and paint the knives, packs guns and make them more "real" LOL.

Nah, but I did try to paint Tiger Force Duke and Roadblock to make them more "realistic". Didn't really work out...

I tried painting a few toys as a kid, but quickly realized they looked awful afterward :lol Probably why as an adult collector it took me years before I ever customized a 1/6 figure :lol

Man, I remember looking for the Blank when I was a kid... never could find one :cuss

I actually liked that series quite a bit, some pretty cool toys for a so-so movie.
