Man, I remember looking for the Blank when I was a kid... never could find one :cuss

I actually liked that series quite a bit, some pretty cool toys for a so-so movie.

The same thing happened to me. My brother and I would go to Target and Toys 'R Us constantly looking for it. Didn't find out till about 15 years later why we could never find it.

you could always buy one and complete it. :wink1:

How much? Just curious. And are they a _____ to make?

I hated ____ Tracy when it came out, and then as I've gotten older I have grown to appreciate it. Art design is incredible and I love the dark humor in it. I mean for a kids movie.

Hmmm... tempting, but an Orko pillow is literally the last thing I need :lol

Speaking of which I have some vintage Star Wars, E.T. and Voltron sheets I need to unload. They're just sitting in a closet and I'm not doing anything with them :huh

Hahah, that's my pic also! I bought a loose one about 2 years before I was able to get one MOC.

Sorry about that how long ago did you take the photo? I didnt think MOC collectors bought loose figures good work on getting both though you must be loaded! :bow I think i might be in a minority of collectors who only buys MOC but opens them all up that way you are getting mint figures but you can still display and play :blissy

There's nothing to be sorry about! I bought it 2 years ago. Here's the original thread where that picture came from:

Wasn't the unmasked portrait the problem with that figure... it gave away the "twist" and got yanked off of shelves?

I remember one of the figures also got recalled because some parent group felt that it was insensitive to children who had been burned or disfigured. Although by the time it was recalled the movie was long gone and the figures were warming pegs.

I thought the story was they held the figure back for a 2nd series/release and by the time they got around to it the figures were warming shelves.

Pretty cool - just how rare is the Blank?

Yeah, I remember liking this series as well. Liked the movie, too - but tried watching it as an adult recently and got bored very quickly...

"The Blank was sold exclusively in Canada and was initially withheld because the mask (attached to hat) is removable revealing Madonna and the surprise ending of the film. By the time the figure was cleared, sales of ____ Tracy merchandise had died off. Figure would never have been released except for a Sears Canada contract which had to be fulfilled up to Christmas, 1990".

I've heard it referred to over the years as one of the rarest figures out there.

SW you say? Hmm, no blood and or fluid stains on them? Or tears? I am interested. My son would dig em'!

There's always the yuppie Pottery Barn rehashes as well...

My son has a set of PJs (no longer available) with his name embroidered on them with the same old school design as well as this little plate set:

It's a little expensive IMO, but very cool.
