after seeing all the pics and being extremely jealous of those who had him - I finally caved and order the BR Joker, I think this is easily the best 1/6 of 2008. The others listed are great figures as well, but the Joker is in a class by himself.

BTW, if Michael Crwford chceks in here, it would be cool to list year's past winners to see how tastes have changed and what figures from 2007 or 2006 or 2005 still hold up at the BEST.

i had to vote gandalf. he was a pleasant surprise by how well he turned out. but all those figures listed are great. i've got them all except dallas and indy. it was a great year for 1/6.

I voted BR Joker but, its tough when you own Cannibal Jack..thats a really nice figure with a little more to look at in detail.

From an engineering stand point, there is no question inmy mind, it has to be Dallas.
Likeness is there as well, and value. It simply is a fantastic figure.
Figures like Indy and BR Joker don't even come close to Dallas IMHO. They're very cool, and have great likeness, but are nowhere near as innovative as Dallas.
Gandalf is a close second to me, because of the amount of research and the excellent materials used.

i'm surprised to see indy in there with all the problems i've heard of that figure. and not a single hot toys predator? how many did we get and not one was listed? I really think the hot toys appleseed figures deserved to be listed, atleast one of them. I picked BR joker as I do think that's the best figure to be released this year.

Well, my heart says Indy but my brain realizes much more quality went into BR Joker. Between the Joker and BR Joker I now have the ultimate Ledger Joker. Can't get any better than these two.

Folks have been posting some knock-out images of the BR Joker and he looks great, and Gandalf is just an amazing and well-crafted success, but it was Indy's year and Sideshow did a great job on this figure...

As much as I love Cannibal Jack, there is something super cool about BK Joker.
Indy gets a nod, but he ain't as cool just outta the box.
