VTS TOYS 1/6 WASTELAND RANGER - Furiosa

Here she is next to Ripley and BW. Considering everyone said how undersized Ripley is you can only imagine how small Furiosa is. She’s not 1/6 scale. Sort of teetering between 1/7 and 1/8 scale. It’s a great figure but definetly not 1/6.

I did the math and she came to about 1/6.65.

Anyone tried a torso extension? It looks to me to be the area that is way too short.

That's an illusion created by the black corset meeting the black trousers, combined with all the belts. The figure is proportional.

I cancelled mine through Timewalker also. Only a few items can be salvaged to use on a custom figure and the cost would in the end be mass expensive..

I got the fig today, not even opened the packaging. They done such a good job with Max, makes you wonder how they got this so badly wrong.

Everything is exceptionally well made - except for the scale issue and face painting.
I think I can vitalize it with some effort

Oh absolutely no doubt about that. It doesn’t quite fit in with 1/6 scale so will be a bit of a floater on ebay and seller groups for years I reckon

I had to cancel my order at Timwalker too. I hate to do it but it's just too undersized and I can use the money elsewhere.
Really awesome of Steven to offer us the cancel option.

Steve is great to recognize this for what it is. I also will use this money for another figure.

I guess I'm in the cancel club too. Just didn't think the end result was worth it. KGHobby gave me a full refund on the deposit however, which I have to now pay for HT Anakin anyway.

He had the option to adjust his orders from the distributor because of the difference in quality from what was solicited before they ship next week so they won't have a lot of unwanted stock sitting around in their tiny store (It really is a bit on the small side). Timewalker does really good business, most of their customers aren't Freaks.

I wonder if VTS has already made all its figures, or if it will also cutback on production based on the feedback from retailers? I always assume they make the entire run but lately, with HT, seems like production runs have been split into smaller "batches"... if that is the case, then there will simply be fewer Furiosas on the market and the price might actually go up quickly.

I just won an HT Wonder Woman body on ebay for an intended body swap attempt. Guess I'm committed now... but I have no Furiosa on order.

I fear worse. Definitely need a new head anyway -- the VTS isn't good in size of sculpt to me.
