Walked over to Splash Mountain and they were filming Modern Family. Here's Ed O'Neill.

Splash Mountain had ZERO WAIT so it was pretty amazing.

Walked by Haunted Mansion but went on it later

After Splash Mountain, we picked up Fastpasses for Indiana Jones and immediately hopped on Jungle Cruise.

The Bengal Tiger can jump over 20 feet.

Good thing this sleeping duck is only 15 feet away...

Gas has gone up in price so much, I really want to take this home.

A pair of animals I don't think I've ever seen before...

After Jungle Cruise, it was actually time to use Autopia fastpasses we had gotten earlier. This ride usually has an absurdly long wait so we thought it was a wise thing to get. When we got there, it was a 10 minute wait so ended up not using the tickets at all.

It's also a bit too realistic because there's a traffic jam at the end.

Here's the remnants of the old Rocket Jets that used to fly high in the sky in Tomorrowland. Now it's some sort of alien beacon transmitter. I long for the day when they bring the now Astro Orbiter back to the sky.

Decided to rest a while and watch the Jedi Training Academy.

Really cute kid had no idea what he was doing.

Stormtroopers show up..

And Darth Vader rises from the depths

"I have candy. Join the dark side."

Darth Maul shows up to fight some kids but can't win.

Most everyone who waited overnight to get a hat went straight home. I thought that was pretty weak.

I just checked Ebay and the One Day hats are fetching up to $100!

Why would you want the hat if you weren't there?

Well, from what I read, there were about 106K in attendance and only 2K hats distributed. That's a lot of potential bodies that WANT a souvenir hat that couldn't get one.

But there WERE better looking hats sold during operating hours but I imagine the line on those were ridiculous.


Back to Disneyland....

After Jedi Training Academy decided to ride a number of various Disneyland Main Street Vehicles.

First was the Omnibus (doubledecker bus) but here I am riding from the bottom deck for the first time.

Then rode the Fire Engine back to the castle..

Rode the Horsedrawn Carriage back to Town square...

Then the Horseless Street Car back to the castle.

Went through the Sleeping Beauty Castle walkthrough...

And then over to Toon Town. Here's inside Chip n Dale's Treehouse

Left Toon Town and hopped onto the Disneyland Railroad via Toon Town Station.

Here you can enjoy the Grand Canyon diorama

And the Primeval World diorama. If you've been to Epcot's Universe of Energy, you might recognize some of these...

Got off the train at Main Street Station

Then took a stroll through Downtown Disney all the way to Disneyland Hotel to find my favorite bar, Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar. I bet the folks who miss Adventurer's Club recognize this..

Thanks, PacMan! I'm always posting photos from the most recent trip so haha... I guess you can tell how often I go. All the pics I've been posting have been from the recent February 29th Leap Year 24 hour day.


Back from the bar, we were still on our quest to do every attraction at Disneyland. Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln was next.

Haha poor Abe. They just can't get his nose right!

Currently, this Abe Lincoln is the most advanced animatronic on the planet!

I booked a hotel for both of the last two weekends in June, hoping to catch the opening of Cars Land before our passes get blocked out through July and most of August. I hope they open it up by the weekend of the 15th, but I'll be happy either way (and will just cancel the reservation for whichever weekend we don't go, once they officially announce the opening date).

Following Lincoln, my buddy and I hit up The Haunted Mansion... but found that the Horse left a little something.

Arrived at the Mansion...

Then it was on our way to Gadget's Go Coaster in Toon Town since the wait was only 20 minutes.

We had a fastpass for Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin that still had time left so we hit up It's A Small World. Here's a horse topiary..

Cinderella, Jaq, and Gus Gus as Small World characters.

And then I fell alseep.


When the ride ended it was exactly 6pm. 12 hours after we started that day.

It was time to hit up Roger Rabbit!

It was a hare-raising experience

We said good bye to Toon Town as we did it all... except for Donald's Boat which was closed.

After Toon Town, we headed back over to Tomorrowland to complete a few things.

Innoventions

From the upper deck, you can get a good view of the extinct People Mover station and the extinct Rocket Jets. sigh

And a look at Space Mountain

It was time for nap #3

And hit up the Astro Orbiter too.

Tomorrowland Terrace turned into an all-night dance party.

Stormtroopers posed with guests (I heard Darth Vader too)

And we did Star Tours again for the hell of it since we had fast passes.

Then head into Adventureland. Climbed Tarzan's Treehouse (I miss Swiss family soooo bad)

Then redeemed our Indiana Jones adventure fast passes

Yah, I looked at the eyes.

Then it was a short break to Main Street USA for some snacks

And coffee... it took about half an hour to 45 minutes.

Then back to Adventureland's Bengal Barbecue for another snack. Another half hour.

Just to wrap up Adventureland completely, had to do Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room!

Over in the Carnation Gardens, Disney characters dressed in their PJ's posed for photos. The wait for this was insane so I just ran up and took a few of these pics.

I then did a quick photoshop of what I thought they should have looked:

Over in Frontierland, Big Al and the other Country Bears were posing for pics. Even though we don't have the Country Bear Jamboree anymore, Disneyland fans are still nostalgic for these bears.

It was now almost time to watch the Billy Hill and the Hillbillies show inside the Golden Horseshoe so we sat down and found a good table inside.
