We had a wonderful time as always. If time permits I'll post some more pics and details. :peace

YoNoSe, is any of the new Fantasyland up and running? I know it's a gigantic overhaul, and being opened in multiple phases, but considering that it was all closed off when I was there a year ago, I'm actually surprised nothing has opened yet.

Which bugs me for my trip in June that apparently it'll be the same Fantasyland situation 13 months later, just with a prettier view over the construction fences.

ARCADE: WDW

And that is really awesome with the Rocketeer pack. Hopefully it'll still be in there in June.

One Man's Dream is one of my favorite attractions, although I always get slightly pissed when I'm in there, that more people aren't checking it out.

Nothing is up and running yet. I'm not positive but I think the "phase 1" area will open sometime late this year. I'm in the same boat, my next trip will likely be in August but I'm not too bothered. It looks like they are working around the clock so I don't think the timeframe can be helped.

LOL.

It's kind of an amazing thing that Disneyland was built in less than a year and it's taking what feels like forever to build new Fantasyland. Oh how times have changed.

Speaking of Disneyland, this is some newly released restored color footage of Disneyland in 1957, when it was just 2 years old! Pretty amazing to see since many of it has been changed. Pack mules are definitely gone and so is the Skyway. sigh.

Isn't it great??

And, yoNose! You better find more time to post more pictures!!!

I love this thread! I always check back for new pics when I want to smile. I was last at WDW in August '11, where I got engaged! We're hoping to go back summer '13 for our honeymoon.

That was when Disneyland had a dress code for it's guests. No mohawks allowed. No long hair on men, either.

We went for our honeymoon. My wife had never been.
She was so tired from the wedding that she fell asleep on It's a Small World. We went back a couple of years ago but were going back this summer after 9 years of marrige. We were going to wait for ten but neither of us could wait.

I haven't been posting much because I haven't been able to go but... I dunno if you guys saw the news but there was a fist fight that broke out at DCA on Saturday at 3:30pm. A 53 year old man was drunk, cursing up a storm and punching people. Security pepper sprayed him quite a bit but it didn't help. It actually made it worse.

Google Gawker Disney Land Pepper Spray and I'm sure you'll find the video.

My buddy came in to work this morning, and knowing how much I go to Disneyland, told me about it. Crazy stuff.

In high school (in the 90's) I saw plenty of fights at Disney but it was always younger, punk kids, never a guy in his 50's. I think the news said he was drunk. O well, he got what he deserved.:cuckoo:

Al Lutz of Miceage posts more in his Micechat Roundup section. Says that he had a Guest Assistance Pass and tried to get into Tower without waiting. DCA of course made everything wider so there are attractions where the GAC pass isn't allowed... Tower is one of them. And he reeked of alcohol and had a fit.
