Want Hot Toys to Rerelease the Power Loader

I'd really love it if Hot Toys (and Sideshow) re-released the Aliens Power Loader. Post here if you want one!

Yeah I noticed that the title could be misread, which is why I edited my post (though you can't edit titles for some reason).

I don't know that people buying the Power Loader on the secondary market should concern Hot Toys, but I'd sure like one that wasn't priced at $700.

It's nice to want things. It's pretty doubtful, though. All signs point to Hot Toys being done with all things Alien.

They are revisiting T1 with likenesses this time. Maybe we'll get the same treatment for a few Colonial Marines but I doubt they'll ever rerelease the Loader.

If we get Marines again, it won't be as many either. Probably just Hicks.

I'm thinkin' HT should rerelease all of their Alien and Pred-related stuff. Sure, tons of fans who paid top-dollar would be ticked off, but in this economy, even more who still want to buy (and there's plenty) would be psyched!
Let's not forget that HT would get a huge amount of business, too.
Heck, even if they priced the rereleases $150-$160 (instead of the original $129.99), people would still go nuts! I know I would.
Plus, rereleasing a line NOW would mean that they could use the old molds (which were fine), but with newer, better paintjobs. So it's technically a new figure... I doubt I'm the only one who took issue (slightly) with some of their older paint apps.

The orange skinned T1 figures of old are quite bizarre. Thank god they're doing new ones.

I'd love updated Aliens USCMs but I can't see that happening.

haha! i have no idea. if that's the actual reason, it's the dumbest reason ever. the movie was all about guns.
i dunno, the power loader was just a damn forklift with legs. so there shouldn't be a gun issue.

Well, they couldn'd get Arnold's likeness before, but now they can. Hopefully these actors are noticing that hot toys are doing them justice AND pleasing the fans. So, it's a successful piece of merchandise. Maybe they will get her likeness with Avatar, and then go back and apply it to Aliens... It would be nice.

Yup. I sold mine in November for about $650. Paid for a good portion of my new computer

I'd still like one should it happen to get reissued, or I could find a cheap one.

THey were worth $239 not too long ago. I would have sold mine too had I had one of them for more than double.
