I don't see adding a bunch of tiny plastic accessories in the tray as raising the quality of their figures. If they want to do that, first they need to redesign the outdated Buck body and then start painting their figures better. I could live without one or two little accesories in lieu of better quality painted sculpts and bodies. I will gladly pay on the level of imported figures for premium quality figures.

I don't know where your comment on paint apps is coming from, like paint issues such as Anakin's lips and mishaps like that or paint apps in general, but of all the 1/6 figure makers (Medi, HT, SSC) I think Sideshow has the best and most realistic paint style of all of them, with HT behind them and Medi in last, as far as human faces.

Are you kidding me? Just ask almost any member of the board about Sideshow's paint apps. I can cite numerous examples. Let's see... Legacy Brosnan? Han Solo? Obi-Wan? AOD Ash? Modern Kurgan? Oh man, if I could only have ONE peeve about Sideshow it is the fact that the factory paints are sloppy and innacurate. Why do you think there are so many customizers here repainting their figures?

I really want to buy this SS Sarah Connor, but she just doesn't look good. The head is huge. I don't understand why Sideshow keeps making the same mistake.

Ok so you're commenting on the end result more than the style. I admit there are some flops with production, I just wasn't sure what your basis was. Problems aside, I think Sideshow's style is still the best, there's a nice realism to their fleshtones and eyes, where others, especially Medi, have a toy feel to their paints.

Although their fleshtones have improved, most of their figures have a very ashen skintone and the eyewash leaves them with red-eye which is why I have had to use rubbing alcohol to remove the eye wash on EVERY human figure I have received from them.

Interesting, the only figure I've ever really seen the whites suffer the red eye look on was the T-1000.

Can't wait to get the ship notice for Sarah, I'm very anxious to get her in hand and check it out. For posing, it'll be good that she has the pony tail, but as far as film representation, it's too bad her hair isn't down so the figure could display and be used for scenes other than the Dyson home siege.

Mace Windu's eyes were so bloodshot he looked like he was smokin' shroom. Obi-Wan and Anakin also suffered from bloodshot eyes. Had to take a q-tip and rubbing alcohol to pretty much every one of my Sideshows.

Well I'm not sure if I'd call my Mace's eyes bloodshot looking, but they certainly weren't as pure a white as SLJ's eyes appear.

Not true, Sarah wore the ponytail in many key scenes; at Pescadero escape and re-encounter with T 800, at safehouse, in station wagon traveling, in Mexico gearing up and at Dyson's...

But I'd dig a long hair Sarah too and a T1 Sarah

I'll elaborate then. I meant ,for the non-customizer cuz myself and others don't have time an resources to do up the figures, the pony tail is limiting for the military outfit to only the desert and Dyson's house, won't work for Cyberdyne and the steel mill.

I agree. Medicom's paint apps. tend to be especially spartan giving them a yellowish, naked vinyl look.

We may see a final batle Sarah and T 800, hoping anyway...

Yeah, that's a big IF but if we do get the factory Sarah with long hair as a variant then we will have to get 2 of them (one was Linda's twin sister) to double for the T-1000 and make it partially glitched. Nevertheless we NEED a long-hair Sarah. Should have made that the exclusive with extra headsculpt instead of the silly hat.

And it's not even a SWAT hat, thanks again Sideshow. :lol

Something that could have been a kind of cool exclusive as SWAT hats are hard to find...

I have no plans to display mine with the hat on so the exclusive was negligible for me.

Just out of curiousity, what are your display plans for this figure?

My plan is to drive out to LA in July for Comic Con and pick up some cases at Ikea and then display all of my Terminator figures. I will have 2 Sarahs. One will be Pescadero but without the jacket, just bare feet, sweats and tank top with .45 and the T-1000 gash on her shoulder.

D,
You may want to add her baton and key ring too, can find both with BBI Police accessories which I think you have...

My Pesc Sarah will have all that and her denim jacket (soon)... simple for anyone who wants to do up a Pesc Sarah... like Dave said, sweatpants, white tank top and you're good to go...

Don't worry, p, I got her baton and key ring already. All I need is the syringe with blue rat poison for Silberman. :D I would get the jacket too if I could find a way to do the patch.
