Nice pics! My Grandmother is in Buhl and they got around 8 inches over the last couple days.

Here's a vid of wonderful Seattle traffic.

We so rarely get snow - that I don't think they have the trucks to sand/salt very much. There are so many hills that it's impossible for them to sand them all - they'll hit the main ones - but that's probably only around 15%. I have 4 hills to go up or down (depending which way I am going) - no way to get around it. Problem now is with it warming up a bit - and now that it's freezing temps it's all turning back to ice. Best to stay in or walk.

Tomorrow should be back to normal though! :woo Yeah for RAIN!!!!

Jen - How about availability of chains or cables? I can imagine that they are not really stocked in great numbers there.

We've had a bit of snow in some parts of the country, not enough to be considered the next Ice Age that the media is proclaiming though :)

We literally went from about -25c (with wind chill) up to +3c over night. Puddles and mud as far as the eye can see ................ my car looks like someone sprayed shat all over it. :lol

You can buy chains for your cars - we haven't had snow in 2 years - so most people were unprepared. The day after the snow storm there was around a 3+ hour wait at most tire shops to get snow tires/chains.

Snow's all gone now. :woo And hopefully we won't get anymore this year. *fingers crossed*

Hehe us Albertans can't trust the weather so even though its nice we still dress for the worst :lol I did too. I must have used 2-3 litres of washer fluid today. There is NO point owning a nice car in this climate. :lecture Truck or nothing imo.
