I have always considered this argument to be just about the dumbest argument against violence every to be used. It sounds good to make this philosophy sound ridiculous. But fighting fire with fire is a time-proven method of action. And beating the bad guys does not mean the good guys don't want peace. It is just that the smart people see that the idea of fighting violence with kind words is f'ing stupid.
