Ed Harris confirmed he's back for Season 2. **** yes. William's living the dream now.

Jimmi Simpson on the other hand confirmed he won't be back. Sucks but makes sense. The origin of MIB has been told. No need to go back again.

Wow. I just finished it and I have goosebumps.

Man, I'm just kicking myself for stumbling upon those theories. I always consider myself a savvy viewer, but I honestly didn't see the MIB or Bernard reveal coming until I read the theories, which were only theories at the time but turned out to be true. I can only imagine how much better this episode would have been if I didn't know that.

And another nice thing was the reveal that Maeve's super powers was all part of the plan. Ford's presumably. I thought that was the weakest part of the show, but this was a nice way to explain it.

The glimpse of Samurai World was cool. All this time, we were so focused on the intricacies of West World, and there's presumably several others like Roman World and Medieval World like in the original movie. Cool.

I actually think it was a satisfying conclusion. All the mysteries are solved. It's basically set up like the original 70s movie now...the hosts go crazy and kill everyone. I for one don't even care to see another 3 or 4 seasons. I think this was really a great place to end it. It felt very self contained.

Really top notch production. I've already recommended it to all my friends.

(oh and how perfect was Radiohead's "Exit Music For a Film" for the last scene? Wake...from your sleep...The drying of your tears....Today we escape, we escape.)

Great finale. It'll be a long wait but worth it. Hope to see more of Shogun World, that'll be cool.

I was hoping to see if Elise would come back as a host. Perhaps having some other role to play in all of this. S2 perhaps?

Also Hemsworth's character. He was about to get jumped by 3 ghost nation indians, but I guess it's implied he was killed?

Definitely a great finale. All the theories came true, but I don't consider that a minus. Leaving enough breadcrumbs so that the viewers can come to logical and often correct conclusions means that the end reveal isn't there just to shock, but an intergal part of the story. I'm sad to see Hopkins go but it made sense fo him to make his grand exit. Harris coming back is certainly great news. The wait is gonna be unbearable though. Let's hope they get to making some damn toys for this!

PS: *********, why did they have to use that Radiohead song? It brought back "Shut Up And Dance" realted memories and I still haven't gotten over it...

Good point.

But toys from this? Nah.

I'd buy 1/6 customs of the following characters:

-MIB/William (Ed Harris)
-Young William (Jimmi Simpson)
-Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood)
-Bernard/Arnold (Jeffrey Wright)
-Ford (Anthony Hopkins)
-Teddy (James Marsden)

1/6 figures will probably never happen but I think Man in Black, Dolores (with her pants and gun) and Teddy would look pretty good together.

I thought Bernard was an awesome character....but a figure of him? Nah.

But toys from this? Nah.

Well, they do have plans for 5 seasons, and I imagine as time goes on, they'll be introducing some more interesting designs. Besides, toys/collectibles can be anything. Some of those vinyl mystery packs, or Funko Pops! or just plain action figures. I'd certainly not buy characters like Bernard or Maeve, even if I enjoyed them, but William/MIB, Teddy and the like could make for some nice figures. The "logo" with the "milk-robot" inside that tech-y circle could make for a good statue as well.

"I'm not crying for myself. I'm crying for you. They say that great beasts once roamed this world. As big as mountains. Yet all that's left of them is bone and amber. Time undoes even the mightiest of creatures. Just look what its done to you. One day you will perish. You will lie with the rest of your kind in the dirt. Your dreams forgotten, your horrors faced. Your bones will turn to sand and upon that sand a new god will walk. One that will never die. Because this world doesn't belong to you or the people who came before. It belongs to someone who's yet to come."

Okay, watched and loved the last episode

Glad to see that most of our theories, from the maze to the timeline were correct as a whole. So here are a few things that come to mind after the last episode, new theories, probably unlikely but who knows...

- okay, so, basically, season one is the premise to what happened in the Westworld movie

- Ford is dead... Or is he? I know he probably is, but still, what are the odds Dolores killed a cloned host? After all, someone with high access gave Maeve a mission, so who could it be if not Ford? And why do it if he's dead? What would be fun would be for him to reappear in the last episode of the series and show what a great mastermind is been all along. Unlikely, I know...

- the reverse is also true. Arnold could still be here and maybe Dolores killed a clone

- the host in the basement are out, right? So... The gunslinger is too! I know it was probably just a nod to Yul Brynner, but maybe they'd planned a gunslinger all along since we now reach the movie situation.

- something I don't understand now. I have to watch the series again, maybe I missed something, but, since the maze was metaphorical, why print it on a host scalp? I still don't get that one...

- did Luke Hemsworth character survived? Can't watch this guy without thinking how great a live Stretch Armstrong this guy would be!

I'm hoping Dolores killed a host of Ford, especially since they never showed what host he was creating in his private workshop. Hopkins was my favorite character of the series so I'd hate to see him gone.
