Statue Weta Announces Barad-Dur

Just got an email that Barad-Dur is arriving into the US warehouse this week.

Hey guys! It's arrived!!! It's big and heavy too! Pictures to follow!
It says on the shipper's box 45 of 750. But on the base of the environment itself it's actually 45 of 1000. That's the confirmed ES.

It comes in 2 pieces. The top of the tower and the rest of the tower and the base. Easy assembly.

This environment is awesome! I can't find the right words to describe its awesomeness! Any true LOTR fan has to have this environment in their collection.

The Two Towers are complete!

Almost the same overall height of Gandalf on Shadowfax. Barad-dur is a tad taller.

Of course, I had to try the Eye Of Sauron app on it! So cool!

Great pics! I'm glad they pulled off the lava effect from the proto...it really does look like its glowing. Detail is amazing just like every other weta piece. Hopefully mine will be here by the end of next week.
