Considering ebay and paypal fees you would have to sell this for around $1000ish shipped to break even if you paid $750 with shipping from Weta.

Azog should be fun to watch on ebay in the coming months. I'm still trying to prepare myself for the shock and horror of the $700+ that will soon be disappearing from my bank account. It'll be worth it with the eventual shock and awe of when I see Azog in person for the first time.

I've still only seen pic's so I really can't wait for this guy to show up so I can see him in person. I almost canceled my order to get the Morgul Lord PF a few times. But I figured I might not forgive myself if Azog turns out a cool as he looks. If don't like the size and look of Azog with my other LOTR PF's I can always sell him and get the Morgul Lord down the road.

I do believe you will enjoy it. It's most likely my statue of 2014. It's gonna take a major effort to change that.

That's a bold claim. It's gonna have to hit those values on eBay to make that so. I don't know if the market will allow that.

If Balrog, Cave Troll, King Kong vs V Rex had only 500ES they would be worth a lot more. This huge & heavy piece has only 500 and based on photos alone I will make that claim....this is as good as any of the above... Maybe even better. Maybe even the greatest ME piece to date.

We shall see. It's a great piece for sure. I just don't know if I can put in that category yet. Only one of those I haven't owned is the Kong piece so I've gotta get Azog in and really just stare at it to see how I feel.

I'm more excited about this piece than the SS Sauron PF, SS DROM, or Weta Barad-Dur. You will stare at this. I promise you. I know the base is huge but this is also over 17" tall... This is gonna blow folks away and will be tough to beat. Even theWeta Smaug piece that will be shown at SDCC will have a tough time beating this one. 2014 statue of the year contender this will be

I'm sure I will. I did at comic-con. Believe me I know all about this piece as I got to see it during comic-con this year. I know it will on both accounts. A decent sized Smaug piece I think would easily blow Azog away and that is saying something. I totally agree it will be a statue of the year contender.

I hope so. My plan is to keep it for a while and then sell it for the epic Smaug Weta is going to make.

From your key strokes to Gods ears Adolfo. I love the character Azog and the way Peter Jackson has has portrayed him in the Hobbit trilogy. Can't wait to add him to my LOTR soon to be ME collection.
