Re: WGP's Doctor Who (printed pics posted!)

That's understandable.

And thanks!

Thank you much!

Sarah's hair depends. It was quite long in Mandagora and HoF. Ultimately, it doesn't matter to me. All of the figures I've done have had sculpted hair and ended with "real", so Sarah's an easy fix! ;)

Harry did have lovely sideburns, didn't he? :lol

He certainly did :lol!

I'd also like a selection of moustaches for the Brigadier as Nicholas Courtney often joked about the inconsistency of the fake ones the prop department made for him on DVD commentaries.

Can't wait for the Tom sculpt!! How long?!!

Dorgmal should have recieved all the Who heads this week for mold making, however he needs to finish casting the Indy orders he's had problems casting the hat on before starting on them. Last I heard Mon, he was really giddy over the newest Indy mold he made so the problem may have been corrected. I will likely hear back from him after this weekend and learn how things went.

Re: WGP's Doctor Who (printed pics posted!)

Watching this thread has made me go back and re-watch all the Baker Who run...

The best Doctor to have ever existed...

:exactly:

Tom is THE Doctor, and don't let anyone ever try and tell you otherwise!

I met him a few months ago at a convention and he was very nice even though things had to be kept brief due to the need to keep the queues moving. I also got to have a bit of a chat with Louise Jameson ( Leela ) about the recent audios she's done with Tom and she was great as well.

Re: WGP's Doctor Who (printed pics posted!)

Yes been waiting for these for a year I think by now. Really want Sarah and the Brig.

Re: WGP's Doctor Who (printed pics posted!)

Hey all. We have finally worked our way through all the heads we had printed that had massive interest lists, which naturally had priority on us getting them out first because they pay for all the other projects that don't.

We had sent the Who heads to our caster Dorgmal Snow in the UK for casting 3-4 weeks ago (?) who did all of our Bishop (ALIENS) and GALACTICA heads to mold/cast but he actually found the Who heads too complex (Ex:Toms hair). Because of the amount of detail he was getting too many air bubbles, so he sent them back saying he is really only capable of casting easier ones.

We appreciate his honestly. We have our Indy hats scheduled to be cast at a casting service in the UK Oct 10, and we sent the Who heads to be mold/cast with them, afterwards.

Except Romana. Being bald, Dorgmal was able to cast her and we have a copy of her en-route to a new specialized wig maker we are trying who will be doing her hair for our proto-type.

Thanks for the update mate! I really appreciate your hard work on this, and it's good to see you doing your upmost to get the best end result. Can't wait to get that Tom head!

Re: WGP's Doctor Who (printed pics posted!)

Well, that's frustrating, indeed, but it's great that he was honest about it. How are those Indy hats coming? I know casting those were a bit of a problem, too.

Re: WGP's Doctor Who (printed pics posted!)

Delays ALWAYS suck, but better that and a top notch end product than something rushed and not so good.

WGP,
About the the Leela head,

Would it be possible to do a wig for her hairstyle from "Image Of The Fendahl" as well as her usual one?

Subject to pricing it's something I'd consider paying for myself if there wasn't enough intrest from others.

The wigmaker we are using uses a special technique similiar it sounds to what LaSirenofEire uses where the wig is going to be made as a thin cap that can pop on and off. She is VERY talented and with Romana she will be seeing how well she can wig our smaller heads, used to doing larger dolls.

As long as she can, it would be no problem to show her a picture and have her make different styles for our different wigged characters for us upon request since she has to make the wigs one at as time anyways. :)

Sarah should have had a wig. Especially for a deluxe Hand of Fear version. Just sayin'. ;)

Appreciate the effort you put into everything you guys do. :)

A few Romana II updates today. First off I wanted to show off the hair color we are using for the wig. It was hard to find her color so this was the closest we've gotten so far.

Then, I have gotten some photo updates for her Destiny costume today from her seamstress. Obviously this is still a WIP. There will be an inside pocket made to hold her sonic.

Sounds promising, thanks for the update!

Romana's coat is looking good so far, it's taken me forever to find a story that finally won me over on the character but Big Finish managed to do it with the Companion Chronicle "The Beautiful People".

Did the Tom head make it to the new caster? Any idea if it'll ship before the new year?

Oh, definitely. The new printer is doing all the Indy hats first though and then all the other stuff we sent them will come next (Han, Flash accessories, Who heads).

I can't imagine it would take them more than a month for everything.

I am at work so can't crop these but I had a few close-ups I have I thought I'd throw out. Photobucket always unfortunately makes my pics smaller but these look gorgeous huge.
