You think there are a lot of people aware of this hobby that aren't also aware of The Walking Dead?

I'm sure a large percentage of people into this hobby are familiar with The Walking Dead. Maybe not to the point that they know who Rick Grimes is by name or face though. But the theme of this thread was more of a mass appeal figure. One that would sell to collectors across all niches as well as the casual collector, non-collector and the pop culture fans. It obviously strayed off of that a long time ago.

But I don't think there's any high-end, 1:6 scale action figure that would appeal to a mass audience. If it did, characters like Elvis, Dorothy Gale, Muhammad Ali would be out there already. Mass appeal within the hobby is a question with many more potential answers (but not too many).

A kick ass, hit girl and big daddy set would do very well i think

I'd be down for Hit Girl on her own, not so much the other two.

:lecture the idea of spending around two hundred dollars on a doll is beyond the pale for most non-hobbyists, no matter the subject.

You don't need the non-hobbyists to make a figure that's an instant hit anyway.

Mass appeal is irrelevant. Geek appeal is god in this market. :lecture

Snake Plissken
Arnie's Conan the Barbarian
Mad Max 2 ....with 1/6 Interceptor car

The fact that most here dont read the first post of any thread has been proved time and again, and this thread is another testament of that.

Please close it...
