Every one has there own feels on this so no one is wrong.I open with that because i do not own any of the AVP's due to price and there my least favorite all around.The movie sucks and there faces are crap but there still a predator and cant help want them.
I dont get the no love for the Lost or Gort.Theres percentage of that on this thread.The Gort should not be hated due to the rehash,thats a fact but not a reason to hate the figure it self.Just my thoughts.And i love my lost predator, the armor is sweet and his face is wicked.I would have liked him more with darker colors but its movie accurate.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Guardian as well. He's just bad-ass even if he's a kit-bash. His paint apps are probably one of the best, and his helmet is very well detailed. Very nice stylized photo.

Of the ones I have - both the Wolf Predators. Anorexic, ugly joints, overly thin* and too few dreads making him look balding.

Easily AVP Elder, but i dont think he looks THAT bad. Yeah he is different from the others, looks cheaper, but still looks awesome to me.

Like i always say, Wolf looks great if posed right.

For me they are all meh except for Pred 1 and the new ones. I never understood why people were paying $500+ for the Elder and AVPs, but that's just me. The Wolf like most here say, just looks so anorexic and toyish.

the actual prop/costume was a "kit-bash". all of the lost clan was, even the elder. they're all just parts of the p1 and p2 costumes cobbled together with parts from other Winston creatures. so the figure being a kit-bash is a retarded reason to hate it.

Agreed, but Guardian was a complete kit-bash from head to toe-head sculpt included. At least lost, p2 Elder, and Reg P2 had unique headsculpts. That being said, Guardian is probably my favorite pred of the "older predator lines". ("Older predator lines" meaning any pred body type prior to the new Berserker body types).

Nope, they are 2 distinctly different head sculpts. If you look at the eyes on the Pred 2, they're buried way back deep in his head, so much so that you almost can't see his eyes; whereas on the lost predator head sculpt, his eyes bug out at you. Also, Mandibles on the Lost are a little larger than the Pred 2's mandibles.

maybe. but it doesn't seem like he was all that limited really. i think everyone on here who waitlisted it got one. and there's always plenty of them on ebay. i hated the pricing too at first until i actually got the figure. it comes already assembled and i remembered assembling my Elder and Lost and decided it was worth the extra $40 to not have that hassle again.

edit - then again, my P1 came pre-assembled and it was all new and came with more stuff and a light feature and was like $15 cheaper...

if you say so. i got rid of my P2 years ago, so i can't compare them side by side now. i do know that the prop in the movie was a repainted P2 costume.

hmmm. are you sure? The P2 armor costume and the Lost Pred armor costume are very different, even in the movie. Are we talking about the same preds? Lost pred had a cyborg-like armor whereas P2's armor was identical to Guardian's(Gort) armor. I think you mean Guardians armor is identical to P2's armor. Lost preds armor is based off of a completely different sculpt; Infact, his armor/costume is the most unique of all the preds. (also he's the only pred without wristblades)...Actually come to think of it, and aside from the body, Lost pred is not a kit-bash. He is unique and one-of-a-kind.
