Whats your least favorite HT Pred?

I like both of the Ancient Predator varients and the Chopper ( if he had a repainted bio ). I will never own one of these tho. Id be over the moon with an AVP Ancient too.

But the Celtic looks horrible bio wise and so does Scar. Elder looks ugly but id be lying if i said i wouldnt buy one if somebody offered to sell me one for a few hundred $.

seems more like a support group than a discussion thread. most of the users who defend the crappy sculpts on those are the newbies/stragglers who paid through the nose for them on the aftermarket. i paid retail for mine so i don't have a dog in that fight. but i do know outdated/inferior products when i see them. no way to defend the movie either.

I still like the AVP Predators a lot. They were some of my first high end collectible figures and they were the best Predator figures available at the time when it was pretty much McFarlane and a little bit of Sideshow stuff that I had. It was a completely new experience for me to have a figure of that quality at the time that they were released.

I do realize that they are flawed and that Hot Toys has come a long way and innovated new and improved figure designs throughout the years, but I still am happy with having a couple of the AVP Predators in my collection and I'm sure there is a certain amount of sentimentality that plays into it as well. However, for me, they are certainly not worth the going prices on ebay and I do agree on you opinion of the movie.

Of the ones I own; none. I don't own these, but I really dislike all the early AVP figures; which is why I never bought any.

I have to go with the Lost Predator being my least favorite of the line because of his horrible dreads, lack of gizmo's, Color, Bio Mask and a few other things. I got rid of mine a few weeks after owning him because I just couldn't stand how bad he looked compared to some of the others IMHO of course. Most of what I dislike about him comes from how he looked in the movie so I am not really blaming HT themselves for him.

A close second to me would have to be the AVP Elder because of how silly he looks in the face and the bright blue dreads, this does not take away from the fact that I would still like to own him...along with all the other AVP Preds.

As a comment to some of the people who hate the wolf pred, really I dont see it. Yes he is little but I think he makes up for it with his awesome gear. I think is posed right the wolf can make a pred collection look amazing because he is very different but in a good way....but again its all a matter of opinion.

Besides the Predator 1 dreads I think he is the best designed, painted and built so I will agree with most other on that. He, however is not my favorite one...id have to give that award to the Elder Predator 2 with a close second to the Predator 2.

the lost pred for me my buddy bought him and i dont care for him at all. i rather have the avp cleaner predator, his chacter kicked but in the movie. despite him being so skinny. the lost predator is still for sale on some sites if you dig. so that's my 2 cent

yeah the AVP's look REALLY toy like to me. If they weren't made of mixed materials I'd say that kenner made them!

Looks like the AVP love has died off...

I only discovered Hot Toys 3 years ago so was late to the game. Would love to own the AVP Preds but they are way overpriced for what they are.
