Yeah that chase scene comes to an end when the crane truck is pulled front first into the ground and the back leaps off the ground etc etc. It's CGI. Least I think it was, I haven't watched T3 in a while. Some things are memorable for how bad they are and that's why I can quote from it.

I just don't think T3 is that bad. I don't think TS is bad either (not sure what the T fans think of that one) but I tend to think T3 get a lot of crap. Some deserving some not so deserving. Sure it has some eye rolling moments but I tend to think the good outweighs the bad. It is a tad too cookie cutter and some of the jokes fail.. But some Jokes are great.. (Relax.... RELAX!)

I mean T2 has some moments also that fall flat and both John C suck IMO.

I guess the biggest problem I have with T3 is that it does not really move the story anywhere. But I give it credit for blowing up the world and it was cool to see Skynet become self aware.

I guess for me I always viewed T2 as a bit overrated and T3 as a bit underrated. But t2 is the better movie o be sure. Hell take the action scenes from T3 and put them in T2 and you might have a movie that is close to being as good as T1 :)

T1 'preferers' seem to be so numerous, even the dominant voices on here these days. Where the hell do you all go when it comes to favorite Terminator movie polls - which T2 wins most of the time.

I think that the T1 fans are just too cool to take the silly pools.... ;)

Of course I took it so I am just as Nerdy as the T2 'preferers' :) :)

I never understood the hate for T3 either.

What are the complaints? Arnold had some cheesy "talk to da hand" lines every now and then, there didn't need to be another modern day time travel story...and some of the CGI was iffy?

I haven't seen T3 in probably 4-5 years, but I don't remember ever thinking it was bad. Loved near the end where everything goes to **** and they're fighting the mini hunter killers and those big tankinators all the way to the bunker, helicopter crash, T-X's demise and then the best part...the nuclear missile launch. That was all perfect IMO.

I'm glad we had another modern day movie before the future war. I liked seeing the beginning of the end and I thought they did a good job with it. Didn't they uh, stop judgement day in T2? It seems silly to go straight from T2 to a future war film if as far as we know everything was supposed to be A-OK.

Salvation is the only Terminator film I was disappointed with. It was alright, it just could have been a lot better. The future depicted in Salvation isn't at all how I imagined the world to look in that time. I think X-Men: Days of Future Past did a much better job of portraying an apocalyptic Terminator-esque future than Salvation did.

T3 isn't that bad when seen in isolation. It dumps on Transformers and a bunch of other spectacle films imo. But compared with T1 and T2, it is a truly ordinary film.

1. Blade Runner
2. Life of Brian
3. Original Star Wars Trilogy (Not the Director's Cut versions)
4. Yojimbo
5. Apocalypse Now

Favorite doesn't mean best. :)

Man I think I forgot to add White Men Can't Jump on my list.

That's good JAWS. I'm sure you'll love it because you're up for review today!

LOL!!!! To be continued tomorrow night. Started it a little late and I am off to bed. About an Hour and 15 min in so there is still an hour and 15 min left. I am always amazed at how many things I love about this film and how many things rub me the wrong way... But I am still enjoying overall :)

Also just watched Batman 89. That was painful. Jack Nicholson overacted the hell out of that, whereas Keaton was the complete opposite with zero charisma or personality. :lol
