I read this for about the gazillionth time to my youngest (shes 5) just last night. I told her a movie was being made of it with 'real people' she screwed her face up and said she liked the drawings!

I so hope this works, I remember vividly taking it out from the mobile library when I was her age and copying the pictures, please Spike, make us all happy!

Funnily enough my daughter (who I was reading to) has my set still boxed up under her bed, they were displayed in our old house till we moved three years ago, I must put a shelf up and get them on display again, they're my favourite thing that McF ever released. Thea does have a few plush figures she plays with though which are pretty cool. When is this out?

Same here. Love how the "look" is kept traditional, unlike all these other recent conversions (Joe,DBZ,ect).
