Well, maybe he didn't like and I think calling it a stroke is very strong but he/she may fel that way. Some may very well like The Hobbit better than any of the LOTR films. Some may not. I can see myself falling in the middle and liking it about the same. I'm gonna make a face at my computer screen sure but I'm gonna blow it off for the most part. Someone that feels that way there is no point into talking about it.

A 3hr stroke?! If it's that painful, he's stupid for staying in his seat! :panic:

I love it. :lol Dude gives props to TDK which until last week was the golden child of movies for the nolanites, but he says he doesn't like the new golden child only to get "the look".

Now, I don't think TDKR is a joke. Its a solid flick but I agree with the guy that TDK is the best of the series.

There is a huge difference in saying you don't like TDKR, he said he thought it was a "3 hour joke" which is ridiculous.:lecture

His post definitely warranted "the look" :lol

TDK then BB, I was disappointed with TDKR. I won't call it a joke but I did not like it overall compared to the first 2.

I think that without the Joker, TDK would have been incredibly dull.

I've never been a fan of this series but I actually really enjoy Batman Begins now.

I liked TDKR, but I have no interest in watching it again.

for me it's BB>TDK>TDKR all were, but it's starts off amazing and ends with a bit of a great idea with flawed execution imo.

Not gonna vote yet as I've only seen TDKR once but I will say that of all of them I enjoyed TDK the most in the cinema. I was kind of indifferent to Batman Begins when I first saw it but it has improved with repeat viewings where TDK, for me, disimproved with repeat viewings. TDKR I'm initially feeling disappointed by. That may change, I'll only know after I've seen it 2-3 more times.

BB also got better and better with repeats for me, much of it was down to me being able to take more out of the story and little details with each viewing

TDK was never the same as the first viewing - that initial awe at Ledgers performance in particular lessens with familiarity (but only a little)

Just got out of my third TDKR viewing and I'm still discovering new things about it! It's going the BB route for me so far and I'd wager it will do so with you too :)

I'd like to think so. Worryingly though I wouldn't exactly be in a hurry to watch it again.

What I liked:

1: Gordon/Batman final exchange & flashback
2: Gordon/Batman first scene although too short
3: JGL's character and reveal as the Nolanverse Robin
4: All good performances by Bale, Hardy and Hathaway, everyone really
5: When Zimmers Batman theme kicks in it kicks in very good

Hard decision on this one. They were all excellent IMO. I went with TDK since Heath made such a great villian! And we got to see much more of the Bat too.

TDKR is a very close second place. Deep, dark, powerful story that didn't feel like almost 3 hours. Great ending to this film series. Nolan's Batman will be hard to replace and will be missed. They will always be remembered as some of the greatest super hero films ever! :clap

It was the opposite with me. After my second viewing, the issues I had with it were more glaring. :huh
