Nah, it'd probably would be the exact opposite, especially with this new > old mentality. A 13 year old wouldn't even appreciate the first two Batman films now a days. I guess the only staunch defenders for it would be 20 somethings, 30 somethings or 40 somethings.

Depending on my mood I might rank '89 Batman above Batman Begins. It depends entirely on how I'm feeling.

That's why I hate rankings. Sometimes I'm in the mood to watch Batman Begins and that becomes my current interest. Other times it might be '89 Batman or Returns. Like right now I've started watching The Dark Knight after seeing TDKR and I'm into it more than all the others. I'd probably rank it above everything else if I was asked right now. Next week it might be Begins, the following week it might be Batman '89, who knows.


And no, I'd rank Bale and Keaton about the same. Though Bale did have the luxury to expand the character with a third film so the Bale Bruce Wayne is a bit more intimate since we got to know him more.

We are as brothers on this.
