Saw it kicked ass. Now only things left for me to see in the cinema this summer is Hulk and DK

(Indiana can wait for dvd)

Iron Man....because he's fresh and new and it's always great to see our beloved superheroes get their time on the big screen.

I am also super excited to see Batman, but Iron Man is different and we've never seen him before now.

I just re-read this post in its entirety for the first time and I cannot believe what some people had posted about the acting ability of Robert Downey, Jr and Heath Ledger. :google

I suppose there is no accounting for taste. IMHO, these guys are (were) two of the best actors of their generation, easily.

... And they were LONG before they landed roles in super hero movies.

You couldn't have said it better Irish!

Robert Downey's earlier work(i.e. Chaplin) and the recent Kiss Kiss Bang Bang show just how talented an actor he is. And of course now Iron Man!:D

And Heath's small role in "Monster's Ball" made a lasting impression on me.

Both great actors indeed. Heath Ledger will be missed.

Bonus points to you for bringing up CHAPLIN! Downey's performance in that is still the best ever by any actor of his generation, imho. :duff

Indeed. $100 million opening weekend, baby! :joy

Great for both this franchise and future comic book movies. Hopefully Hulk isn't a dud like the previous one and we can actually have a successful franchise around him too.

The great thing is, an AVENGERS movie is all but a lock now no matter what HULK does.

Very true. I love that they are already setting things up with little additions in the movies this year. Just adds a little something extra for us Marvel fans that a regular movie goer wouldn't pick up on.

Since I am a Marvel fan and biased, Iron Man takes the summer.

Bat-who??
:lecture :lecture :lecture EXACTLY.
