Bomer has done screen testing for Superman before. I think he was the runner-up for casting in Superman Returns.

The movie has to be epic i dont think Smallville actors can lift that weight so long, i love the characters but it just cant be done, maybe, hope, that the finish the 10th season with a 2hr episode watching Tom in the Superman suit, imaging that!

Trust me, Tom Welling and Erica Durance CAN PULL OFF A SUPERMAN MOVIE, if anything there ready for the big screen by now toms been clark for 10 years, erica has been lois for 6 years. There ready i know it. And if not a full on Superman movie then deffintly a smallville movie like you guys said. Smallville does superman stories everyweek with a small budget, just imagine if the had a little bit more money! But whatever comes out of a new superman movie, ill be happy

Given a feature film budget I have no doubt that Tom and Erica and Rosenbaum could pull it off extremely well.
