Holy crap Lonnie you're fast. You're a speed typer on speed! You're a typing marvel... a wizard on the keyboard! A typing God!

Man, how come I never knew about this, and why haven't any of the sites or stations showing the Olympics talked about this event?

I took typing in 7th grade...

... because they haven't started yet I think.

WOOHOO! We have 13 medals! Not bad for a country with a small population and next to no funding for its athletes. We're doing better than China and the US per capita. However, it took one American to win almost as much as our entire country. Dang that Phelps! I never watch ET, and had it on in the background, and they said he could end up being worth 100 million one day.

Apparently before these Olympics he was getting 2-3 million from Nike, and got a signing bonus of 1 million when he won his seventh Gold. And if that's not enough, he's only 23. :horror

That explains quite a lot Dusty... :monkey3 :D

Programming things through 3 different time zones (GMT for 'server time' - Eastern for news - Pacific for everything else) - and then transferring it all into military time as well - is really really annoying, especially when one of them doesn't change for Daylight Savings Time... just ask Marc :lol

I'll bet! Sounds confusing! :rotfl

This is the last Olympics for Softball and Baseball... unless the petition to bring them back succeeds next year.

I'm a huge baseball fan and this doesn't disappoint me too much. There is now the World Baseball Classic every 4 years and thats so much better anyway because the pros are involved.

Yeah, it just shows that theres talent in every country but depends on how much money you throw at it to develope them. Well we got the Aussie monkey off our backs next we'll do the US in London 2012:rotfl:rotfl

Seriously i think you guys will do great in London improving again for sure on this effort.

Just look at China at this olympics and especially if GB keep the lottery funding going it will be your best yet.
