So now that HT have made a 1/6 scale TDK Batman Tumbler, any doubts that they will give us a 1/6 scale Aliens queen?

Actually, yes. The fact that they've spent so much time on things like the tumbler, and the fact that they seem to be spread so thin doing projects for films that are coming out soon makes me wonder if they're ever going to get back to the Aliens line (or even the POTC line).

I have no doubt that they're capable of making a queen. It's just a question of where their priorities are.

I'm not a big fan of the creature itself (love the films though, Alien and Aliens in particular), but I'd be all over an Alien Queen from Aliens.

Have no doubts that the Alien Queen is coming....with them spreading themselves so thin it guarantees less releases for other lines which means those releases have to sell to remain viable. The Alien Queen sells itself.

All that, PLUS HT is busy (hopefully) with A L I E N right now, and Predator 1 for SDCC, so I doubt they'd want to dilute those sales with a Queen Alien.

A big item like this will cause people to cancel something to accomodate it. Few can afford the Tumbler plus Batman figures plus Alien and Predator, etc. Something would have to give.

Personally I'd prefer they spend their energies on a Giger Alien, and get that just right.

it makes sense for ht to produce an alien queen. she is such an integral part of the franchise. not making a queen would be like producing a star wars line without vader, chewbacca, c3po and r2d2.

They don't care one rat's ass about integral part. They only care about cash which is as it should be for a company. If it's profitable they'll make it.

If there is a market for a 1/4 or 1/3 Scale Cinemaquette Queen there is certainly a market for a sixth scale Queen.

I believe HT will make this. I think Howard always envsioned it to go with the PL...

But I also think they will make a hunched over, lurching Queen to pose with the PL so it won't be 4 ft tall (1/6 of 24 ft), more like 2 ft...
