2K for a undersized non-collectible item.. FU Sideshow..
I'd rather spend a extra $1000 and get a limited edition Stan Winston maquette.

Without scrolling through the numerous pages that have been added to this thread since Tuesday, I'd like to ask the following: It appears there is no EX and no ES for this piece, is this correct?

My apologies in advance for not carefully reading every page. I normally do read every page for pieces I'm interested in, but I've been a bit tied up this week.

That is correct..

As I said earlier, 1/3.5 sounds absurd. And they couldn't slap on 1/4 since they already tagged it as Legendary Scale. Hence, they chose to go with 1/3 to justify that $2k price tag. Are you gonna get this, Amber?

Cheers,
Neo.

I'd love to but I'd have to sacrifice too many other goodies so I think I'll pass.

How about you?

Which is funny since it isn't even Legendary Scale. Compare it to Wolverine or Ben Kenobi and there's a definite difference there. This should've been a maquette from the start. Then there'd be no scale ambiguity, a lower pricepoint, and more customers (let's face it, people want a Wolf maquette).

I was super exited about this guy! (The pose & sculpt are amazing!)... until i found out the price. That is beyond redonkulous to ask 2,000 for this!! :thud:
Buy this for 2000 bucks now... try selling it for 1/2 that in 3 years with no edition size! I bet a few years after its release this guy will be easy to get at a way cheaper price! I got my Alien queen 1/4th bust for 500bucks (1/2 of the retail price) on ebay & that had an edition size! I dont see the logic here Sideshow?! WTF??

Most collectors don't buy to sell.

Yeah, I'm getting it. I don't care about the ES much but what I do care is the scale and the final product. The $2k price tag doesn't seem to justify either and that's what I'm pissed about!

It'll get an ES, a number of pieces recently have the ES a couple of weeks after it goes up, and it's usually lower than what people anticipate
Unlikely but every speculation about this piece has met with an unexpected surprise, so let's wait and watch.

Cheers,
Neo.

very entertaining read, but I feel really bad for those who were interested in this.

Sideshow is either incompetent or deceitful. take your pick.

Here are some comparison pics I posted a while back from some collector's photos from the con and of their collections:
