You take this thing off the base and it's smaller than that 1:4 scale Jason Voorhees PF from FvJ. Ken Kirzinger, who played Jason, is 6' 5" where Ian Whyte, who played Wolf, is 7' 1". I think that analogy of this being a PF and someone getting the idea to pass it as a LSF to double its retail price sounds about accurate.

WTF? My local distributor has the Wolverine LSF for $2200 and the Wolf LSF for $2700. They are BOTH 2 grand and the Wolf will have a smaller box. ____ me :gah:.

If you put that FVJ Jason PF in the Wolf pose it would be smaller than the Wolverine PF using that logic.

No, my logic is this supposed 1:2 or 1:3, which ever they're trying to pass it off as, when off the tall base is no bigger than a 1:4 scale PF figure of a 6' 5" character, whether it's crouching over or standing upright. I was just throwing a little evidence into someone's aforementioned logic of this originally being designed as a PF, but then being passed off as a LSF to sell it for twice as much.

No matter what logic is used, the simple fact remains putting a 1:4 scale sculpt onto a taller base does not make it 1:2 scale, as is the LSF are supposed to be.

31 To the head would have been an awesome size and make it a little bit more worthy of the cost

31" to the head, standing upright on a flat base, still wouldn't justify this price. Say Wolf is 7' 3" in full suit (reasonable seeing Ian Whyte is 7' 1"), that's 87". 1:2 scale would put this at 43.5", or 3' 7.5". Even standing Wolf up fully erect on the Alien wouldn't make this statue a full 3' tall.

Just dump this whole LSF gig with this, and put Wolf on a regular base and call it what it is- a 1:4 scale PF.

From what I am reading they have already trapped people into wanting to buy it even though it's clearly a 1/4 statue, it's a great move on their part because they have people suckered into this already.

Oh WOW, that's just WOW.

looks like it's 1:3.98 scale

I'm guessing when you stand this Wolf sculpt upright it will be about 24" tall which is bigger than the FVJ PF by a good 3 inches. But you're right it is a PF, and it's a maquette, but it sure isn't a ____ing LSF.

they know exactly what they are doing, which is the shameful part.

I have a feeling despite all the complain about the price and size, this will be most ordered piece among the LSF. Damn, this piece is soooo good, it would be hard to resist once the in hand pics are posted. Too bad the value of this piece is not as attractive as it looks because one day after you buy this you know the value will go down. It's a shame because I believe every great high end collectible should increase in value over time not decrease. Even though I don't plan to sell this if I ever get this, it would give me a better feeling if I know my favorite statue is going up in value rather than going down. Others may feel differently, which is fine, we all are different after all :)

We definitely are seeing eye-to-eye- unlike this Wolf and a true LSF.
