Wolverine is the closest to a true 1:2 scale. I believe in the comics he's 5' 2", or 62", so his 1:2 scale would be 31". And just look at how it dwarves the Wolf Predator itself (no base). Call me a fool or say I'm being a ____, but anyone who's giving in and buying this is a sucker! It's nothing about not having enough money, or not being a true fan, it's just when I look at this I don't do like Elmer Fudd did when Bugs Bunny pulled one over on him, and turn into a giant sucker.

Sideshow, you are completely shameful how you're passing this off as something this isn't, and playing people who don't know any better for fools, just so you can line your pockets more. You're turning into the American oil company of the collectibles world.

Exactly what I posted before as well.

It's not that many of us here can't afford the piece.
It's that many of us here agree, there isn't $2,000 worth of goods in it.

Overpriced and not even by a small margin. :(

Oh no. It's not a scam failure.
They're succeeding at scamming the fans, unfortunately. :(

Not all the fans, just a few. With all the backlash I see on all the boards and Facebook, it can't be that much of a success. And don't be fooled by all the people that say they ordered it. There's a lot of people full of hot air trying to be "cool", that probably didn't. It's like that in most threads.

If SSC gave a ____ and listened, and dropped this down to closer to 1K, I might pick this up. It'd probably be 5 years before I could take it out and display it, but for 1K it's a nice piece. For 2K that thing better jump off there and push a tiny vacuum around and make beds. I'd pay 2K for his big brother maybe, but not this twerp.

:lecture No doubt.

I don't have a FB account, but glad to hear that they're thrashing the Wolf LSF there too. SSC needs to know!

This may turn out to be the lowest edition size ever...Zero. THE most exclusive piece ever!

I would like to know how many of the 'I'm getting it' gang have actually committed to buying by paying the deposit on the pre-order.

I do know two people that have paid for it in full.

I put my money toward the Berseker bust instead. Better deal as far as I am concerned. But shipping for the bust was $350 bucks from Cali to Ohio........ouch!

Here are some comparison pics I posted a while back from some collector's photos from the con and of their collections:

CM Predator (1/3 scale) vs Wolf LSF

Amalgated pic from collection and comic con

That hand shot convinces me its not 1/4.

let's not forget also, that 2 SDCC's ago, SS even confirmed during chat a 1/4 Wolf was in the works. There's a thread about that somewhere.

I came here after witnessing the pwnage of Sideshow on the Facebook page :lol. This statue is great, but they really need to fix the scale.

what do you mean? the spec still says 31" height, and it's still measured to the tip of the whip.

do not understand...

If you look at the iamge above and the new image now on the Sideshow website you can see they measured it fro mthe head. Here's a comparison image I put together. It may actually be 1/3 scale now or close enough.

WTF.........SS changed the scale representation now :slap. They really need to get their ____ together and explain what is the real height of this thing (from head to base).
