"Put it in my chest, Sam" stated by Megan Fox would be one thing, but Optimus Prime? The worst dialogue and the worst resolution of any movie that summer, maybe ever. Nothing in Wolverine is that stupid.

You're exaggerating the Wolverine dialogue. I'm not. And seriously, explain the difference between the cube shrinking and Megatron shrinking. You brought it up.
I don't care at all what you think of G1 or Bayformers. I'm just genuinely confused by your continual bashing of the movie. You admitted that you didn't know anything about Deadpool but that didn't stop you from going on and on about how terrible it is how they ruined such an awesome character, how you were pissed because you wanted to see Deadpool in the movie.
You're just grinding an axe. Exaggerating to make it all seem worse than it is. You tell people in other threads to stop bashing and move on. Why doesn't it apply to you?

All right just got back. First things first: THE MOVIE IS NOT THAT BAD.

The tales of its abomination are widely exaggerated. In the same token it by no means is a good movie. Let me explain.

It seems like in recent times movies, TV shows and the like have no foreplay. Its just right to the money shot. Its like the trend is to fast forward to get to the action or "fun" shots.

That is what this movie is like. Take away any of the character changes or any of the comic origin or even the cliche dialogue and what you have is a film that goes from scene to scene to scene as if the story was being told by someone who hasn't slept in 72 hours and has had nothing but coffee and soda to eat or drink and they are going a mile a minute. Literally it was here is sick James and BAM! he kills a guy and BAM! it was his real dad and BAM! him and Victor are brothers and BAM! they are in a war and BAM! they get hired for a special mutant team and BAM! they are already on their first mission and BAM! they are on their second and BAM! Logan quits the team and BAM! He lives in Canada and BAM! he has a girlfriend and is a lumberjack and BAM! Striker is back and BAM! he is tricked back into the program....

Get the idea? Its like every scene went from A to D leaving out B and C and just moved along. The pacing itself was ^^^^. The movie was predictable. It had a lot of wasted time. The sidestory with Cyclops and Professor X was a waste of time. So much was left out in the standard storyline it could have existed in that same idea where it occurred behind the scenes.

Now the casting was perfect, Jackman rocked the ^^^^ as Wolverine and everyone else played their parts quite well with the exception of Striker, who was horrible if you remember X2 at all and I wasn't a fan of Kitsch's LeBeau especially since he didn't even attempt a Cajun accent.

Speaking of which, the fight scenes literally played like cut scenes from a video game. When he was fighting I expected to see a flashing "Press X" on the screen so I could continue on.

Reynolds was awesome and loved him in the beginning of the film. This part is blasphemy I know but I didn't mind Barakapool. It made scene the blades especially with Wilson's comments in the beginning and with the close-ups being of Reynolds even just the subtile face gestures or look of the eyes made me laugh. I really enjoyed the Deadpool scenes and thought it was one of the best fight scenes in the whole film. Especially with the end scene of him grabbing his head and his newly opened mouth saying "shhhhh" made me chuckle. Having just seen Hulk vs. Wolverine and seeing Wade having to put himself back together, it made sense. I would actually happily buy a Deadpool HT figure. (I know. I know)

Overall, the film is a 6 out of 10. By no means a good movie, a definite missed opportunity but not exact for the film content but more for the overachiving screenwriters and director trying to slam so much in the film that they screwed over any kind of pacing and any kind of well....foreplay. Its not a film I would pay to see again, not a film I would buy the day it came out but it was alright.

Definitely didn't walk out saying the movies was great, Jackman was great but I liked him in this character anyway and I really liked Reynolds and hope for a Deadpool film even if it is Barakapool but its definitely not a rape of my childhood even if its really off of the comic origins.

One thing that bothered me is why Sabertooth never came back for X2.
Singer's movies totally mistreated that character

That bothered me less than forcing a connection even a brief one between Sabretooth and Cyclops. It also doesn't help that in this Sabretooth is an awesome brooding villain while in X1 he is a mindless oaf. Makes you wonder when the severe head damage occurred to have it make sense.

Oh....and I can't stress this enough. The CGI was horrible. Its been a long time since I was in a movie where it was so bad it pulled me out of the movie. That isn't an excuse for that in any movie....sloppy.

I agree Cyclops should never have been in this movie. They showed him to be about 15/16, that would have made him about 36ish in Xmen, he must use oil of olay

In X-Men, all the movies I believe they used actual metal claws that Jackman held in his hands for close ups, the CGI was used to make it appear to come out of his knuckles and for the obvious retracting and extracting moments. Here they used CGI for all of the claw moments, the bone claws looked fake, the metal claws looked even worse, it was really bad. Which made me scratch my head because Victor's claws looked well done. It looked good in the previous films and here it just didn't. The bullet holes seems to glow and shimmer on the skin which made them stick out even the mouth scarring on Deadpool looked as if it were overlaid onto Reynolds' mouth....it was all very visible and noticable and that has nothing to do on whether the movie is good or not, whether its TDK, Wolverine, Gigli or Ghandi its not acceptable IMHO. Even the optic blasts from both Deadpool and Cyclops looked really bright and really fake compared to the X-Men films.

What gets me, is that they had the Strause brothers there for FX supervision. They were involved in digital effects of Benjamin button, so why not use them for the digital effects on this movie?
