i had to pick up some packing materials over the weekend and it was going to go out today with the other stuff that i had to mail, but thankfully i saw this first.

i might still do it, but not if this turns out to be true.

On various sites there have been rumors about a Wolverine PF for a while now. The two that are leading the rumor mill is of course the Brown Suited Wolverine:

I remember reading a post about three or four months ago somewhere swearing up and down that due to the success of the Versus Dio that the X-Men PFs would be in that styling. I'll try to find it but I'm a member of so many forums that I have to really search.

I would as well although I'd buy the Astonishing one as well since I like those designs. One can't argue with the logic of using the modern designs. In a perfect world though they'd really offer up exclusives again and offer the Modern as the regular and a Brown as the Exclusive.

I think the brown suit is cool, but I honestly would prefer the classic yellow outfit. Put it this way, if they came out with a PF and the Exclusive was the brown, and the Regular the yellow, I would get the Regular. But if it was only a brown costume version, I would probably get that for fear that SS might not come out with another version.

Without question, that will be my first PF figure purchase. I missed the Blue and Yellow Comiquette, but nothing will stop me from missing that one!

I think Wolverine would be perfect for the PF treatment, but I doubt that SS would do two colors. If there is an exclusive version, it would probably include an unmasked head. Just my opinion, of course.
